Less then 5 minutes in…. Be yourself…. Not VGG. It’s simple… don’t do things he does. It’s like buying wal mart knock Jordan’s… yeah kewl in store but a waste of time and money when you leave. Sorry dude… bhu bye
You happened to watch the one damn video that was specifically made as a joke towards exactly what you hate. Best part is I personally could give 2 shits.
@@IrishOutlawGarage don’t care…. Tired of the whole VGG thing. Good luck to you but I won’t be watching. Wish you the best. Now leave me alone and you go do you and best of wishes to you.
PBG sent me… I sure hope your more like him and less like all the other wannabe VGG guys ( don’t get me wrong I like Derik just tired of the copy cats) and that’s why really like PBG
Welcome, I to like Derek. I'm more aligned with my friend Dalton. Only Difference between me and him is I'm a sarcastically angry f*cking Gen X'r that speaks his mind 😁😏
Seen this at the Pontiac nationals and i love it! Ambulance and hearse are super cool and i dont see enough of them at shows
Gonna try and take him every year. I want folks to see the less known branch of PMD.
@@IrishOutlawGarage heck yea, look forward to seeing it again next year. I had to add it in my highlight video because it is a lesser known rarely seen ponitac! and well i have a soft spots for those things
@EfurdGarage my channels full rare cars. I can tell you that the "the gray haired purists" didn't like Artemus near their trailer queens 🤣 To much foot traffic lol.
@@IrishOutlawGarage I looked at a few videos of yours and seen some. Yea thats why i hang out with all the guys in the pits they love pontiacs, they love cars, but they are not purists and the cars are not all perfect. They were built and enjoyed.
If you're doing anything electrical on a vehicle I highly recommend a power probe takes all the guess work out of it
I have one that is a year older. That model is called a Miser. The transmission is an 833OD. 4th is an overdrive gear. The gearing is tall so it loafs along at highway speed but is hard to get moving. It's hard on the clutch too. They advertised it getting 25mpg when it was new.
Wow, thank you! Great info!
Great show, and a very cool short bed truck Hope to see more of it.
Thanks!
Good old truck I always wanted a prospect one
You might want to reconsider your thoughts on old dodge trucks they are creeping up in value and look damn good fixed up
Eh, just a truck
@@IrishOutlawGarage lol ok .....
These short beds are worth more. But you can find long beds for a grand.
@@IrishOutlawGarage they are bringing way more than that here in south Carolina clean short beds are bring upwards of 20k I just got done restoring a 83 it sold for 18
@enjoythesho1992 nice!
You came within 15 minutes of my house as you crossed the bridges into Henderson KY. I’m in Indiana. Getting gas in Henderson was probably the cheapest you saw the gas prices.
I’ve got a 69 Chevy C10 that’s been sitting for about 25 years. Its a very solid truck. Surface rust and rockers and door pan rusted through. It’s out in the garage. I uncovered it yesterday. I’m going to start working on it very soon. I’m starting with the fuel system. Putting new tank with fuel pump under the bed, new line. Rebuilding the carb. Then new plugs and wires. Then I’ll see if it will turn over.
Awesome! It just takes a little bit at a time!
This is slow. Show.
What do you mean?
Probably having to do with editing.. perhaps speeding up the process.. staying on point.. trying to follow what you're doing and I can't see .. The leaning Tower of power.. 225 awesome engine.. shouldn't be that difficult to get going.. Cheers from Vietnam
Nothing personal brother .
None taken, I'll look into doing better. Some of my vids are crawlers and some racers. Just depends on the job.
Can't help but wonder about the distributor bushings but, that goes for most everything that has one.
Runs like a top. Would like to see wheels and tires. See shine juice on it. Great shape for a 40 year old truck
Vroooom! Looks like a parts getter to me.
Just DD speed shop it! Lol
Cool truck Jay
I'm early in this series but that water had to be coming in somewhere. The cowling in front of the windshield and hood or the windshield itself. I guess you've fixed that by now.
Cowl drains were plugged, windshield, door seals, HVAC box seal under hood..... pretty much everywhere 🤣
@@IrishOutlawGarageOk. I made to the part if the video after it rainrd
Fram even has their own lower quality made for places like Wall Mart the only fFam even remotely good must be bought from a parts store.
Damn fine truck it’s good to see it up and going!
The best engine ever made slant 6 I had 3 cars with that engine the best 👌 👍 😊
Those Dodge trucks are growing on me... Great video!
The market has ruined Ford and Chevy truck prices. Maybe Dodge trucks will stay affordable so the regular guy can have one to work on. Great tips on fixing the shit factory wiring.
Shortbed dodges are going through the roof
@@IrishOutlawGarage That's fine. Short beds can be for people that don't use them as working trucks. Hopefully the long beds will stay low in price.
They ain't bad
My grandpa had a white long bed
I'm not fond of Mopars, but these trucks aren't bad looking. Now I'm going wait and see if it goes up for sale.
I have parts if needed
Yup I've got two slant 6 , a 190 and 225 version, both from my dodge cars
Best engine ever. For practical use anyways
Yeah I’ve always used mobile one oil but really really close to going to VR1
I like Valvoline oil. Always have.
Awesome video JAY. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible day. Much love and RESPECT
Used to work with a feller had this same truck with automatic transmission he bought from the post office garage it was their shop truck .
Its somewhat shiny after the wash job .
Now for everything else to make it a driver.
She's a runner!
Last few years of good dodge 97,98 went to shit I had brand new one ways had stupid crazy problems brand new and dodge didn’t know what was dodge guy had 69 charger anyways just went back to Chevys and a ford every once and a while well international really 7.3 was not a ford lol anyway dodge/ram/unicorns shot them self in foot there’s reason they the cheapest trucks
Looks sharp. Hope to see it in person at the NNN this year.
I agree, as a Ford guy, the slant 6 is a good motor. That said, the Ford and Chevy 250 straight 6 are just as good. I'd never turn down an old American straight 6.
My dad had one of these. Pretty sure 1979 also. Levi edition I think. Roll bar in the back. 318 engine(again, I think). The truck was pretty. But a real piece of crap mechanically. He got rid of it pretty quickly.
Would have been a 304 or 360. 318 is Mopar. Great trucks but not made for luxury lol
@@IrishOutlawGarage 360 then. I’m sure. Dad was a cotton farmer in Se Missouri. So he needed a strong truck. That Jeep wouldn’t pull a sick whore off a piss pot. He was one of the first in our area with a 4wd pickup. That one was 1964 Jeep J-200 Gladiator with an inline 6 cylinder engine called Tornado(on the valve cover). That one was strong. It’s still sitting on the farm under my brother’s control.
@onthefritzfarm this 79 was pulling hay wagons and farm equipment for years.
Jay what is your opinion on stp oil filters
I've used them in a pinch. I opened 1 years ago. Was pretty similar to a Wix.
I absolutely love that car!!!!
Coming back and watching again, idk if you have a hardtop for this beast but I just got a blue hardtop that will fit this rig in good condition. It’s yours if you want it free for all the support you have given my channel!
Thanks! I have the original one to this one.
@@IrishOutlawGarage Right on!
Looking good!
Oooooh! Shiny!
Hell yea!
I named my 73 Chevelle Lucille my Dad loved Little Richard!
Lucille was actually my mom's name. Coincidentally I named the engine I built that's in our 76 Malibu is named Lucille.
Keep us posted about how long this product last…… thanks
Will do
Awesome seeing what the car was to what it has become. Really enjoy your channel
