Traditional charcoal is made in a very low oxygen low heat long drawn out method that leaves a lot of undesired residue. There are other objectives as well if you are a purest. Quite often with these little Infernal Combustion Engines the fuel lines or pulsation tubes from the crankcase crack and leak or become a loose fit on their spigots. The neoprene ones on Stihl generally last pretty well but the plastic junk on Ryobi etc don't last at all. Those pump bulbs are notorious as are the damned spark screens. (On chainsaws they often get "forgotten" about!) Some of my big saws had a secondary fuel screen in the carby that would eventually block up but mostly it was just the tank filter that needed throwing. I've got an old Jonsered and a cheapy Ryobi here that need attention too. But, with a bit of luck, I'll push off before I get around to it. 😇😱
@farminglifeaustralia67169 күн бұрын
Blokes who have no idea how small engines work have it made just take it to the shop. Ha Ha. My problem is I can't afford that. What You could do is just leave the Jonsered and Ryobi in the shed and leave them to someone you don't like. A last stuff you from the grave. John
