Now THAT'S how to start a concert - Henry on the pipes! And what beautiful risers you have now.
@lkikib945825 күн бұрын
Agreed! Henry's piping in of the choir adds a majestic dimension and beautifully sets the tone for the opening pieces of the second half! What a lucky choir to have such a multi-talented conductor.

Would love to hear this sung more slowly and tenderly. It's such a moving, deeply sad song, and would benefit from a more pensive pace.

Nice job! This is the first YT video of this arrangement I've found so far that gets the groove of the song right. The on-point vocal percussion really helps. I wouldn't have put him front and center though--that's a bit distracting from the song and the choir. Otherwise, again, great job!

I sang this song, way back in January of 2017. Before this song was published, I believe. Either way, I have been waiting so long for it to finally be available to listen to online whenever I wanted. I just happened to search it up today to see if anyone had done it yet. And I found your video. So unbelievably happy. Beautiful performance. Thank you for sharing <3

Thanks for the kudos! Yes, we loved this song too (and more than one of us still hum it while walking around the house months later...). It's so pretty and poignant. I hope other choirs perform it too. But we're happy to have you listen to our version until then. Thanks again!

this is disgusting and culturally insensitive to me. if someone took an old African chant and change its pitch, tune and bpm drastically there'd be riots but people do that to newfie folksongs nobody cares. well guess what I CARE. it's rude and disrespectful.
