    100 orders of $600 each sold out in hours? Wow.. That's 60K and at 600 it's not cheap at all. 1500 orders at $59 is nearly the same - 88.5K in orders. Although 59 is a much more acceptable & justifiable price than 600

    Why do these KZreadrs keep regurgitating incorrect information! The subscription of AI Humane $24 a month includes cellular service! You going to have to pay for cellular services with rabbit to that’s why it have 4G!

    AI Pin seems easier to take around, whereas the R1 seems like carrying another wallet. I can see myself going on a hike with the Pin, not sure about R1

    My email to Rabbit : I paid for a preorder around New Year, in time for batch #2, and now I read on your FAQ page that I can wait until all the Americans and Canadians get theirs ! Is this a scam or what ? I still haven’t seen a single genuine user review on KZread- only ‘influencers’ clocking up clicks .. Does anyone actually have a Rabbit R1 yet ? Doesn’t look that way. I paid my money in good faith. I took the risk on a new product because I have a serious use for it. I helped finance you ! And now you tell me ‘maybe next year …. maybe not …’ 100,000 preorder, $AUD300 each, is $30Million. Nice scam … Even if you deliver the products -late- you get to invest 30 mill for a year … and officially commit no crime. I assume I can’t request a refund, even though there is no shortage of buyers. So I guess you’ll be buying cocaine and cocktails with my money. I notice your Discord server is a dead link. That says it all.

    Seems kind of pointless, did these guys ever stop to ask WHY ? We already carry around a phone from one of the tech giants that you can grant microphone permissions to and couple it with the software that's in this pointless new hardware ? if audio is an issue then tap into the mic stream via bluetooth from peoples BT earphones. Subscription app maybe for the mass market with a free trial, extra hardware to not loose and not break and remember to charge ? people already are ditching their wallets for Google play/ Apple Pay. . . . At 60 bucks I might consider it if i'm feeling fast and loose with my money at 200 they can think again and 699 they need their heads checking. i'm reluctant to buy a phone for 600+ these days and i'm hyper aware of shitty pay monthly apps and MTC's Just because you can does not mean you should.

    I still really have yet to understand what the R1 DOES. “Multimodal AI to help accomplish multi step tasks” Would like to see an example of HOW it does that or what it is like to USE it. Definitely is a pretty widget with lots of fanfare. Really can’t understand why though. Hype for hype’s sake is all I can understand. F I would like a grumpy old man.

    Here's what's happening. Both of these projects offer a solution to problems that can't be solved already with our phones, or an app on our phone. As for the AI Pin, that's vaporware. 100% vaporware. I don't believe that's a product. I don't believe they had the tech available. I don't believe they have a team to develop the tech. What they do have is a device with a mini-projector that can accept a few trivial commands and requests and project the result onto your hand using a UI that looks like a worse version of the same out of Total Recall. Neither of these will come to market. Neither will be successful. Neither will be anything more than hanging next to a $5 Pocket Donkey Kong mini-handheld.

    The permissions needed for automated API software to function isn't possible with modern smartphone architecture. I know you think you know what you are talking about by guessing where these tech companies will end up, but it is evident you don't understand the basic knowledge revolving around Large Action Models like Rabbit Inc's R1. AI Pin is garbage, but to couple in the R1 within that vaporware concept, is to repeat the same mistake iPhone deniers made when they claimed a keyboardless smartphone would fail.

  • @LouieCartoon

    Teenage Engineering has a reputation of making hardware so good that it triples in price when they stop manufacturing the models they sell. Jesse Lyu has a great history with AI, and is positioned as a pioneer because he has been studying contextual intention based AI voice command architecture for over a decade now. If you use fundamental analysis, it is clear where R1 is headed. It may be a bit slow at first, but as more and more users are on boarded, the hive-mind LAM network will exponential improve its speed and intelligence as it learns from its users. This network effect was seen with social media sites like MySpace and Facebook, and it will surely be seen in this new niche technological innovation within the artificial intelligence space.

  • @LouieCartoon

    The reason Rabbit Inc has an advantage is because they can target functions and make low cost devices that serve a niche function, something tech giants like Apple are unable to expirement with without taking use billion dollar losses in the process. This is the nature of capitalism and its favoritism towards start up culture.

    I enjoyed this video. Great summary and comparison (from the little information that is available right now). Your delivery of the content is smooth, nice work on that as it is not easy even with post-prod editing magic. Would like to see more rich media as you talk, and probably better sound quality once you get up a head of steam - which I am sure you will. Keep it up!

    I hear that, maybe I should have mentioned that in the video and also compare to some other executives. Although worth noting per a Yahoo Finance report in Dec. 2022: “Apple Inc CEO Tim Cook had an estimated wealth of $1.5 billion as of January this year. That made him the 2,083rd richest person in the world, far behind the fortunes of Mark Zuckerberg ($142 billion)…“

    In your opinion, will the AI interfaces (such as the one described in your video) surpass the current established surf engine software we have today ?

  • @ShanFilmzTech
    @ShanFilmzTech Жыл бұрын

    Regarding ChatGPT vs Google Search and specifically looking at the interface, I’m not sure if the “chat” interface is better for all use cases. Both can work depending on the use case. I will say Google’s interface is definitely better for most search tasks as of today, yet the chat-based tech could get better with time. I think while AI is already being used by Google, they could develop their AI to provide better answers and integrate AI more than it already is in search today. Google has been working on their own version of ChatGPT and I’m working on a video to report on updates regarding that as well. Will be interesting to see how they use AI and chat-based interfaces.
