  I just did that repair, March 2024, but to reinstall the wide ribbon connection, I had to unsolder the two capacitors that are in front of the ribbon connection and then re-solder them back.

  A new brass gear for replacement is available. Look in Google for "Canon Selphy CP760, CP1200, CPxxx - Zahnrad - 10 Zähne Innen-Durchmesser 1,48mm"

  Thank you in advance for your talent! Canon wanted me to send them my printer w/ $79.99 for them to fix it! Yet I literally haven't even printed off 1 complete pack of papers yet! I am sick!!

  I found the easiest fix, toss in the garbage and order a newest one compatible with the cartridge/paper. 😂, that’s what I did !

  Yung ganito ko sir paper jam ang problem may tech ako napag tanungan kaya daw irepair yun at iffix na daw nya para di ulit masira eto kaya yung tinutukoy nya? Kung eto nga yun siguro subukan ko rin para hindi na ako gumastos mukang kakayanin ko naman salamat sa video tutorail na to boss!!

  I have a Selphy CP530 and I found you don't have to disconnect and unscrew all of that. Once the cover was open and two connectors pulled, I could lift the entire mechanism out of the case (bending plastics a little) and the failing gear could be seen. I only want it to work long enough to use up the ink I have since 3 years ago, I will not spend a single penny on more.

  In some instances, when the gear is cracked you must replace it. Please note, Canon has 2 different gear obstructed. You can buy a improved metal gear for about 10 Euros on hood germany online auctions shopping
