So many inaccuracies in this. For one thing, Tony, in Australia was "dry." before and during his Australian TV series. It was the news of his wife, Freddie divorcing him that led to his sorrow, and then untimely passing. Alone, on the other side of the world. God bless him. THE GOAT.

Thanks for sharing this. It's a great dramatisation of the gradual unwinding of Tony Hancock. Molina is superb in this, and I'd go so far and say it's the best thing he's ever done. I remember watching on it's original broadcast. The ending, including Hancock's suicide note is desperately hard. He wanted out.

Road Warriors launched so many cool teams and even singles wrestlers. I wish they could have kept that name and opened up the 2nd LOD stable, this time with POP, Demo, Lord Humongous, and a reunited Blade Runners. That would have been awesome 😎

If I remember, this was the last match Arn & Tully had in the WWF, actually, this was the last time we will ever see Arn & Tully wrestle together again! Arn would go back to the WCW but without Tully who failed a drug test! So there you have it, no more 4 HorseMen for Tully Blanchard & no more WCW title belts….

Galton and Simpson have both said in interviews that this tv play was B.S. Tgey have also condemned the Steptoe and Son biopic. The bbc is famous for making up stuff like this, even in there documentaries.
