  What if Rd8? Can't take because of the pawn and cant deffend queening because ovthe rook so you're in the same possition, jus up a rook

  Assuming you mean after Kc7, then Rd8 would lead to c1=Q+, black gets queen with check so white can't promote, and likely black can check white until they fork king and pawn to take away the promotion chance

  Kg6 is not forced. After Bc4+, d5 must be played in order to prevent Qf5+. Kg6 is a blunder and allows a forced checkmate in 11 moves, considering each side playing the best moves by the engine.
