Rarely have I wanted to pilot a ship as bad as this. Also, how did the simple beauty of a Stroud-Ekland nose cap with Kon-Tiki bridge escape me all this time?!
Glad you put up a price guide. I’ve seen a few other videos that had great looking builds, but didn’t even say how much the grand total was. 👍🏼
Dude, I have watched this several times. I’ve looked at the various still photos of this very closely as well. This ship is on a level all by itself. The bottom alone is better than most people’s whole ship. I love the juxtaposition of the sleek light blue top with the very 3 dimensional dark bottom. It somehow all works perfectly together. Great build.
Very humbling, thank you man for the kind words! It's one of my personal favourites too for its shape and features. Though my dream ship would be this exact shape, but half the size with A class engines
@@SadMongoose5621I built this ship with all A class engines. I used 6 Slayton 4330s. I used the pinch 8a for the higher hull. Made a few tweaks. I used particles and missiles and omitted some cargo. Really an awesome ship.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 had to build one for my own fleet! With a few Darkstar Astrodynamics mods added, INSANE!!
Yeah lots of room for improvements now that mods are available 💪

I stopped using armouries, you spend all that time putting everything on display and then it all resets when you change ships! I just stick with crew and passengers habs now with custom workbenches etc if I need them. Thanks mate 👍

Thanks man, appreciate it! Yeah the song is from a collection of remixed soundtracks from different games/movies. 90% of the songs I choose get copyright notices 😄
Awesome build Mongoose! Total Star Wars vibes, especially with the color scheme. So that’s what it takes for a wing build like this, 3 Deimos Bracers wide for each wing. Once that rotatable parts mod comes in I bet you’re gonna crazy with it.
Thank you brother! Yeah wings are fairly simple to put together, just end up reaching part limit a lot quicker! and yes keeping an eye out for the mod. Have you tried the Avon tech ones yet?
@@SadMongoose5621 That's been a real issue as of late. Outside of that one little ship companion bot, I haven't installed any ship mods yet. Still kind of just waiting for some more options to decide. What about you?
@@High_Key I been using a bunch of QOL mods (like better UI/menus etc) and just tried the Avon tech parts briefly yesterday, but they look so different from the standard parts i find they dont visually blend well together. Might need to play around with them a little more but im in no rush to use them right now
Finally got around to building this ship. Very nice, it’s taught me a new idea for weapon mounts. I think my next project will be making High Key’s version, before I attempt to make my own version.

Where did you find the Damos Bumpers. I’ve scoured the Galaxy without success.
You scoured the galaxy but you only had to travel a short distance! You can find them in Cydonia on Mars or the Deimos star station orbiting Mars
Damn that’s genius adding both breaking engines since the nova one has a weird shape. Then add ing the Deimos adds to its shape. Well done.

Right now I'm using a RSI-Galaxy build as my daily flyer, but I might have to switch over to this one if it runs as it looks - UN-FRACKIN-BELIEVABLE!

@@SadMongoose5621 The one I'm running is actually an older rendition, similar in appearance but with a different cockpit and slightly less detailed. I just had to create all three ships!

These glitch builds are making for some tight looking designs instead of Lego ships.

@@SadMongoose5621 I am not saying anything about builders. It's just the nature of the system that make ships look like they are composed of building blocks. Gltich building blends the form together.
@SimmerCK I misunderstood, and I agree... glitch building (i hate how that name has stuck, as its not really a glitch) opens a lot of build opportunities. Its what's keeping me playing and building

That wing design is next level! Very smart usage of all the available techniques. My favourite part is the rear part around the window, it’s a great combination of those deimos bracers
Thank you muchly! The wings were the trickiest part with getting the proportions looking correct, but theres probably still room to clean them up a little further!
Damn how come I didn’t get a notification for this one? If a ship ever had character to it, it’s this one. Like I said on Reddit, while it’s different, I see a lot of the same elegance with this as the Origin 400i from Star Citizen. Beautiful job Mongoose!

Ps: if you use mods quiqly BUILD the GoldStar M class before the others - and become the GoldStar family Legend - becose i do not use mods or hacks or scripts ever - only good old fashion building by my self with my own staff type of guy . Become the M class GoldStar Legend and be number one first ever. How about that - will that make your day super and Awsome. Hehe. Have fun
No I dont use mods either. Like you im an 'old fashion' builder, only using the flip techniques. For now i prefer to make ships that anyone could make, if they on xbox or PC. When mods come to console then i might start using them! So i will have to wait a short while before the M class Goldstar is in my hangar 😊👍

Outstanding. This is one of the coolest ships I've ever seen! I'm going to try and make it this weekend. I'll probably put 3015s on instead because I love the speed. Hopefully it won't look stupid with different engines haha
Thank you mate. I reckon if you use the Stroud 1L cowlings to merge into the engines so that they blend into the body with the Stroud caps it will look nice. Let me know once you've tried it!

The equipment plate/pipes/spine/skeg merge is so nicely done. I dont think i would have thought to use the equipment plate like that. Well done

Awesome design, far bigger version of my redesigned Frontier. But i might be making some changes now i have seen this. I don't mind using a glitch here or there, especially if it blends in so nicely ❤❤❤

Your builds (from what I've seen so far) are 'outside the box' in my opinion 👍 Very cool.
