Could you please tell me the float hight many thanks
18 mm +/- 1 mm 👍
Is this legal to drive on the street? That's amazing, considering you'd most likely know how to fix it. Can you buy just the chassis and put a different body / engine on it, and still be street legal? The suspension on this thing is almost as good as a side by side quad, with the benefit of being street legal.
2 c fie... Jocifie... Djocivie..tocifie.. 😂 that heavy Dutch accent..
That, is a very slick video. Well done you.
Loved what you have done to this car. I absolutely hate the rear boot wing. It ruins the look.
Joie de voie.
This upload was very inspiring! My history with Citroên started with two B11s in the 1960s, and a 2CV, Dyane and Ami 6 Break in the 1970s. I still smile every time I see a 2CV! Greetings from Stockholm.
Malcolm. Does this fit with a -69 model, I also have a small towbar installed (bought frome you )? My engine is a newer (12v system) so I probably have to buy a new sensor as well.
It also fits on a 69 model. Even with the towbar 👍And, yes indeed the fuel sensor is also different.

OMG what’s with the very loud music?!… love the idea of bringing back a true classic but can’t deal with the awful music 😢
what kind of grease you apply on the inputshaft? thanks
We apply the grease that is provided by the valeo-kit. 👍
The interior is amazing! And how beautifully the colors match. Great 2CV for daily car!
☺️😉👍👍👍

Min 5:18 Could someone tell me what that "brass thing" being put on is? Thanks.
regardless of the comments, as from April 2024 all two wheeled three wheeled and four wheel bikes will have to go through a Controle Technique in France, Including "2cv`s"and sans- permis vehicles too.
We all love the 2CV. The 2CV is to cars what bread is to food -- it's a baseline. Wouldn't it be great if it could go back into production, giving millions of people this transportation option? Citroen AMI: The usual response to that wish is that it's impossible because the 2CV can't pass safety regulations. But here's a loophole for that: Citroen itself is selling a car called the Ami, which is legally a "quadracycle" -- I guess that's a motorcycle with 4 wheels. The Ami itself uses the 2CV logo on its grill (see this article called "The Electrek review: This tiny Citroën Ami microcar is just weird enough to work". ) Here's a quote about it's being designated as a quadracycle, "It’s technically considered to be a quadricycle, a type of vehicle classification in Europe that falls somewhere between a motorcycle and a standard car. That helps it thread the needle of low cost and low regulations while still offering much the feeling of an actual car. It may not have a dozen airbags like some cars (or even one airbag), but you weren’t planning on hitting anything anyway, right?" "Largely an artisanal procedure": Here's an article about when the 2CV was produced in Iran: "Citroën Saipac 2CV, Jiane Sedan, Jiane Pickup and Mehari". It describes the manufacturing as "largely an artisanal procedure", i.e., they are hand assembled. ... That means a high school kid can put one together in their back yard (!). How many millions of high school kids wouldn't consider that as an option for their first car??? Burton 2CV Parts: This place in The Netherlands -- Burton 2CV parts -- has several videos about putting together a whole 2CV with purchased parts. They don't come out and say it -- but it's hard not to make that conclusion: "You can build your own 2CV!" Modded 2CV: 720cc - speed machine! Can the 2CV hold its own on a highway? This video makes it look like it can: Modded 2CV: 720cc - speed machine! (channel is Hub Nut). It talks about some minor-looking improvements to the spark-advance, giving it highway-capable speeds. The daily driver citroën 2cv6 real solution against rust restoration. 2cv ^^ a hot-dipped zinc-coated 2CV will last a lifetime or more, in terms of rust. Argentina: 2CVs used to be made in Argentina, and now it has an extremely free-market president and administration. I bet Argentina would embrace re-introduction of the 2CV with open arms. (And its mostly a flat, mild-weather country -- it should do well there.) Let's figure out a way to get this back into production and make it a transportation option for millions.

Great idea, what would it cost to build it today, 2024?
11:07 That engine must have nice strong rods and or head bolts.
Question, for an early model (58-59) where does the wiring loom pass through, from the dash area towards the back of the car ??? Is just like this video or ?
Great series and I've finally watched all 4 parts. Now I'm wondering, seeing the completed 2CV, do you sell ready-assembled vehicles?
Is there an Airbnb nearby for people who want a "hands on" experience?
Like😅😅
Make a Florida retiree's dream come true: buy them an all-parts-included assemble-it-yourself 2CV.
Hi Hope you have a nice time my name is hosein from iran I have a question about suspension systems on this car Is that right that this car had height-adjustable suspension system like cars like citroen xantia,XM,xantia activa,or not? Thanks if someone here see my comment and help me
No, those cars have hydropneumatic suspension. The 2CV has a swing arm suspension with coil springs
Fantastic!

Nice video. The music is truly abysmal.

The biggest advantage of a Dyane/2CV: you can drive it full throttle, high revs even during rain on the Nurburgring, and it is stable. Cant do that with a Bmw or Porsche
Hello, what pump sizes are used for the 652cc reform? Thank you
