  I had custom AF1 Gucci's in 2005... The best way to do quality and durability is to undo the stitching on the toe and check and then place the fabric under stiching and stitch back... as well as glue. The check would need to be wrapped in gucci and stitched back in additon to the glue. This would require an actual cobbler (shoe repair professional). Which people don't want to invest in. Just using glue will not sustain if worn periodically and not once in a blue moon.

  Foe some reason whe I do the same thing on my used af1 after I cut the de fabric, whe I put it on the shoes is always smaller. Any ideas??
