  Just came across this video. Truth is I’m thinking about searching for an XPro2, but I had a chuckle at it being “so old”. I still use an Olympus OM1 that I’ve had since the 1979s.

  Good point. The philosophy of "winning beforehand" comes from a written work titled Hagakure by a Japanese Samurai and monk. I used Sun Tzu's quote because I found it very fitting. Thanks for your input.

  something that could help sticking with it is incentives and checkpoints along your way to meet your goals when you hit a certain number in your bank account you take yourself to do something you enjoy when you've been sticking to a diet and not cheating for a certain amount of time, have a cheat day PLANNED when you've been working out consistently, plan a rest day and maybe go on a walk or do something less intense things like that. you need breaks or you'll burnout

  1. Great, it means you can stop worrying about them and start focusing on solving them. 2. But also, there are things that seem like they are in your control, but are really not... Like peoples opinion of you. You can try to control what people think of you all you want but at the end of the day it is out of your control - so theres no need to worry about it.

  I use TickTick as my task planner and to-do list. It has both Pomodoro and focused hours counter. Pretty handy tool, the most in my opinion. I think, it has these tools in the free version, but I have an annual subscription.

  Just got around to seeing your video. Well done! I have had the X-Pro2 since 2017/18 and it has travelled well through Singapore, Philippines and Australia. All the while picking up a few battle scars along the way. I was keen to see the X-Pro3 but not really a fan of the set up on the back. I do use a large number of different cameras (film and digital) as an enthusiast and collector (with a slight case of GAS) but the Fuji X-Pro2 is the one that suits my needs the most.

  I think this is great advice because it forces you to think about ways of applying the knowledge you just learned and you can commit these ideas to memory quickly. I also never knew about the law of diminishing intent. Great video!

  I’m confused between the xpro2 and x100V they’re sold second hand at almost same price, I’ve seen tones of videos and it’s overwhelming how almost 50% say get the xpro2 and the other half recommends x100v, i need one just to get my hobby back i miss street photography and im so desperate to try the fuji system… any recommendations ?

  If you are happy being stuck with the 23mm focal length get the x100v. it has the superior sensor. Otherwise xpro2 is a better option for you.
