  Serving is great but if you get a hangnail you need to go to the hospital and have it documented every single time because the VA doesn't serve us... they serve the government too and the VA's goal is to not give us a dime for injuries and disabilities caused by our choice to serve and give our lives if need be for others. I want to recommend that people serve in the military because you get friends and family like you will never get anywhere else but after dealing with the VA for the last 20+ years I simply can't. We that serve have Honor,,, those in charge of the VA,, Do NOT !!!! That includes politicians. I'll give you one of many examples that you may not know. You're disability reading is 49% and you're lucky enough to actually get disability pay for it they will currently take that pay from your own retirement pay meeting that they cancel your disability pay once you retire but they don't actually say that. They simply steal the money from your pay so that you pay for your own disability. This is not new and politicians in Washington should've never allowed this criminal activity but instead they approved it. I'll give you one more example of how the VA and government have no honor. A memo was sent to all the VA doctors tell them they are not allowed to help us with our disability so we have to go to different doctors outside the VA to get documentation that we have disabilities especially if you never had them documented when you were younger and told to suck it up and move on to complete the mission....

  Uniforms have changed so much from the BDUs I wore in the 90s. What motivated eliminating the pockets on the chest and hip areas?

  The regular uniform still has chest pockets. Sir and CSM are wearing the summer uniforms, which are lighter, do not have chest pockets, and have buttoned shoulder pockets as opposed to zippered.

  They had some tri color back in the gulf war but only a few of em issued. They shouldve used choc chip as it best represents the gulf war And tricolor was mostly issued in GWOT along with digital cammies.

  The WWII one is so wrong that it's not even funny. You've got an M43 Field Jacket on with no M1937 Wool Shirt underneath, an OD t-shirt that makes no sense for the late war period shown by the jacket, wool trousers that are just lazily tucked into what are supposed to be Type II Service Shoes (maybe??) with no M1938 Leggings on (huge problem), and rolled sleeves and a rank patch (that looks way too high) on a field jacket (which was almost always not the case).
