More of you please. Im planning a body lift in a few years and i noticed there were 0 females advertised in my country as plastic surgeons. Im sure there are some but my quick search of the better places showed 0.

Well done! Please remove "female" from the title. So unnecessary. She's a surgeon! ❤

No. That's what makes it so great. I went looking the other day in my country and I didn't see any females at all. That is what would sell me. She is a very rare person in her profession. She is conquering the world.

From my experience, people get drawn to certain plastic surgeons because of great visible results/Gallery, great ratings, high recommendations, special offers / promotions . I personally look for people, who post plastic surgery experiences on KZread and I look for lawsuits as well. Then I want to know, if the Dr. is very responsible about post op care. The Doctors that actually give a prize range and offer special promotions get my attention first, but most Doctors don't give prize ranges, which is quiet annoying.

Bilateral mastectomy two months ago, and on one side the suture started pushing out, but it wasn't painful. When I pulled it to see what would happen I ended up with about a foot of it. The other side is trying to push it out but it breaks and then ends up coming out another hole it makes in the incision. This is a profoundly gross process! I was not prepared!

I had spitting sutures after cholecystectomy. These sutures didn’t look like dissolvable sutures. There was a small sinus with pus and small fragments of sutures, which the sutures looked green, coming out. I still have sutures left in me causing havoc. There is granulation tissue, a stitch granuloma.

I realize this is an old video but there isn't much else to be found on wound dehiscence, especially regarding breast lifts. This was very informative. I had a TT and breast reduction w/lift on 5.17.24 and still have wounds under both breasts. Went to the doctor every week and had sutures removed, as they were spitting out of the breasts. Not terrible but they cleaned up the wounds every time I went. It was almost as if I was back to square one each week. And I was told, under no circumstance, was I to put Anything but dry gauze on the wounds. No ointment at all. They said the ointment would push the bacteria into the wound. So much conflicting info. But, I will follow my surgeon's instructions. As of today, one of the wounds looks just as fresh as it did when it opened during week 2. Beyond frustrating. Luckily, TT is healing wonderfully! So, yay for that!

@@RobMelRuby I'm sorry you are going through this too! The only thing the surgeon keeps saying is that I have thin skin - and I'm very fair complected - so that is the only thing he can think that is keeping me from healing. I go back again tomorrow - and Nothing has changed. So frustrated. I purchased some non-stick gauze and it does a really good job of not sticking but from the bra pressing against the gauze, it sticks a tiny bit and pulls the scab off. It's like it's never going to heal. I never would have imagined this to happen...and they definitely don't warn you that healing could take this long. Best of luck with your healing!! :)

@@caseyl2313 my surgeon told me to use saline to rinse it, a silver sulpha cream, and suggested using pads (I bought Always brand). I just cut them in half and they line the bra and don’t stick to anything so they have been comfortable. The whole thing is a MESS!! We will heal though. One day! 🙄💙

@@RobMelRuby So I just returned from my appt. and he didn't pick or poke, just looked and said there has been good progress in the last two weeks - basically, keep doing nothing and he'll see me again in two weeks. I have to admit, the size of the wound was about a quarter two weeks ago and now is more like a nickel or a tad smaller. There is hope, my friend! I've heard about the saline but was too scared to use anything. lol Please let me know how it goes! All the best!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for covering this subject. I am almost 70, and my Doctor just took out my drain 14 days after a mastectomy. The trouble is, I feel like I am collecting fluid now in certain areas. Since I have to have MORE breast lymph nodes and muscle removed. I want my drain to stay in a little longer this next time. I don’t like this feeling 😕 and soreness 🙏🏻.
