  This is my favourite show ever, not just animated show, favourite show. and I only watched it two years ago. I'm 32. I just simply think it speaks to and echoes a score of experiences and emotions that no other show has. I can't tell if it's that championing alone that has me so affixed, or it's the emotions themselves that I find so pertinent supposedly when rendered. I can't even really be sure of what these are btw, nor am I sure why or even if this medium was a necessary vector for them. Foremost the show is about trauma, but not just the robust kind manifesting from singular events or deprivations - but the latent harshness or rawness of life, as well as that which stems from our relationship to ourself, our desires and our environment. Again, it's not just the misery in the moment, but afterward - the trailing memories, triggers, whims and propensities you're left with. Melancholy and loss is showcased elsewhere but it's never made to seem so independent but also very robustly personal. It makes work of many characters in the process of development or redemption too (the latter not always being the case however), in a moment of heightened emotion but also dire confusion and regular dismay. Of course the show isn't entirely macabre or sad, it does showcase various triumphs like any other popular and rounded narrative. However you are left with persistent ills, of which you can never expect to shake, only briefly relieving oneself having isolated accurately enough to ward them of for a short time. I will say there is likely better representation of strife's and adjacent feelings felt by men or boys, that said it's not utterly colored as such. Then there's such tropes like body horror and psychedelia, but one thing that is deployed as good as anywhere else is surrealism. I suppose this is something that's rarely ever trifled with because it very readily devolves into nonsense, but when done well it can if anything establish greater realism, notions that while vague, cryptic or even perverse are no doubt shared by most the audience. The latter is yet another achievement, that said incurring morbid or awkward realities or objects in shows isn't easily celebrated. I'm perhaps more so pleased to not see it used inordinately or to just merely shock the viewer. Of course there is classic tropes like romance, comradery, heroism and right and wrong, but these are so well balanced against chaotic and antagonistic devices or objects. There's rarely if ever a coherent answer or conclusion, what was restored previous is later disturbed once again. As expected the ending doesn't feel conclusive to counter balance the successes previous to it, despite being this magnificent, seminal and psychedelic crescendo, a world ending calamity afoot you are left wondering what exactly happened. What of futurism, is there commentary about technology or the environment? just how real can a world with biological mechas piloted by teenagers really be? are there historical subtexts, or literary or critical theory present? I bet you could show evidence of all the above but what is striking is how well it strips away from that despite existing within a particular time, showcasing a specific world. I do worry it's relevance has faded for various reasons, I'm not personally jaded that so little people seem to appreciate it as I do, but more that so little media picked up from here, further propagating it's themes. In short I don't think any one show is a monolith, a bastion of all ideas worthy or consideration. That said this show highlighted just how personally inflicted I am by the feelings I've felt, those being largely melancholy but also boredom and a lack of agency. I am particular in this, and never expected a mirror - it's hard to speak to how evangelion managed to basically explore existentialism and not occur as either cliche, played out or confused. Truthfully it would appear there are just some life experiences or phenomena that are formidably difficult to depict in film. Apologies this is a belligerent mess.

  The premise of the Winchester mystery house almost sounds like a junji ito story. A rich heir to her husbands fortune builds a mansion yet is haunted by the spirits of the victims of the weapons his company manufactured, so she continues to expand the home at her demand, and also attempts to confuse them with its unconventional architectural design.

  So, basically it says that everything after GX is in a different dimension and each dimension has its own summoning, but while it’s possible to go from one dimension to another you can’t hop between universes and arc-v is a different universe which is why arc-v doesn’t affect the other shows. So every dimension has its own copy of Yugi and Jaiden which is why we could see those cards in zexal. And that’s also why in the movie Yugi acted like he didn’t know Jaiden because in the 5ds dimension yugi and Jaiden never dueled

  I love the fact fujoshi girls exist because they love yaoi anime like yuri on ice as much as my bisexual male self does. I loved seeing victor and yuri fall in love that kiss in yuri on ice; was the most touching and romantic kiss I've ever seen in a yaoi anime hands down. I love seeing men in anime fall in love with each other. It gives me hope I'll find a hot, kind, and loving, boyfriend of my own someday. Don't get me wrong I'm open to the possibility of ending up having a hot loving girlfriend in the future if it happens, but my love for other men never dies. With that being said; if I get a hot and handsome boyfriend with a good heart in the future, I wouldn't be mad about I'd love it in fact. I love all the romantic possibilities that come with me being a bisexual man.😊 thank God I realized that I'm bisexual at 16.😁 💖💜💙
