Smokey's CNC Woodworks will take you along as I make signs, home décor, parts for other projects, furniture and much more....The machine I'm working on is a DIY 4' X 4' CNC Router that took me about 10 months to build (that day job gets in the way) and I'm still adding to it and making changes as I go. Occasionally we may slide over to the wood shop and do a build or project which will still probably include the CNC because it is such a great tool.

It's great!! Only opinion I have is the head seems a little too long, but that's just me! I love it! I'm making small ornament size ones with crafting items. I don't measure, just eyeball it. You could sell those and I bet they would sell like hotcakes! Yes, please make the snowman video!!
How many feed rate and plunge rate on v bit cnc?
What is the painting that you use? Acrylic painting?
Hiya Brian...Nev from Blankmania here....hope you're well...just checked in to see some of your latest videos but...
Gave this to my son & happy to say he's fully committed to the Lord & now he's living it. ❤ Thank you for using your talents..🙏for you and your town after all the devastation around you. When i heard Sulfur was struck I've been praying for y'all.
Great. Just found you! Will look for more.
Thanks. What kind of paint do you use? I'm having issues with pooling and cracking of the paint in my carves.
I use a airbrush now just a acrylic, on that sign for the cherry farm I honestly don’t remember, sorry
Bravo!!!!!😀👋👋👋
what size are the bits you used?
Stop using plywood. It’s veneer, you’re going to have spots sanded thru.
Can you tell me what kind of paint you use in your airbrush and do you thin it any? I’m wanting to incorporate that into my work. Thanks
😂
what kind of paint do you use? and do you mix it with anything? Sometimes the paint bleeds and it's difficult to get rid of without sanding everything away. thanks
which liquied is used in spray ?
Brian, this is a really nice build. How has it performed for you? I'm about to build a DIY 5'*10' table with NEMA motors. Appreciate your parts links, but done are now dead due to the age. But having the part names helps!
I know this is old but I hope you look into your “controllers” I don’t think I’ve ever heard them called that
What happens if one of the Y stepper motors or power supply quits. Will it warp the guides due to one motor still trying to move the arm
Nice to see you back. Merry Christmas
Why in the world wouldn’t you have your cnc machine make that cut out?
Where did you find such a nice thick piece of cedar?
Actually locally sourced, I know a guy with a saw mill and has several types of wood he mills himself...Thanks for watching
Good to see you back! Hope your computer gets going soon.
Well, lol, I got a new laptop and got the software installed and going.....wired the CNC machine back up, went to do a little test drive and the shop computer had the blue screen of death!!! I've sent it to a guy and expect it back and running before long....Thanks for watching!
Nice. Been watching others paint signs to ideas on how to do some things. You're the first I've seen using a small airbrush and I think that's great. Lots of control and less overspray into other areas which means less sanding. Good job!
Great to see you back, good luck on the cnc.
Thank ya! Hopefully it'll be all back together soon!!
is his cnc precise..? looks like a frankenstein cnc made.
what is the name of the band sing the first song you picked.
The song is called OUTRUN by Lynnea WEARETHEGOOD .....Thanks for watching!

It was good to see the video. Will prayer you can transfer your software and get up and running. Can't wait to see more videos. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

Glad to see you back. Definitely missed you and your lose clamp intro !! Strewth its hot there!! You don't have winters there? Wet, windy & frosty here in UK . Your old shop froze up & you couldn't work or carve over winter, you'll need to open doors & windows & get big cross flow fans !! (No worries of you getting a fat layer !!) Dont overdo it, have fun & stay well!
Lol....Yeah couldn't let go of the old intro just yet, I'm going to do a new one at some point....Thanks for watching!!
You might want to get an external hard drive to install your videos on Sir. You can also place a copy of your cnc software on that external drive as a backup.
I have one with all my videos on it, I think I actually have the software figured out, thanks for watching!!
Love to see you back brother man.
Thank you and thanks for watching!!
as a last resort I bet the software company can see your channel and replace your software for review on your channel.
They have always been helpful in the past, however, I got it figured out ......Thanks for watching!!
ever heard of ammonium chloride (cheap) to brush on wood with template to chemically burn wood like a torch does.
No I haven't, that sounds like a interesting process
just install old drive in new pc as a second drive.
