I just found your channel and binge watch the d100 build, you are proof positive we MOPARIANS are die hard and will fix things with limited space and equipment. You are the man! Keep up the great work.

Nice truck man! I have a 71 also, I rebuilt from the ground up. These are getting incredibly rare so I hope you take care of the original parts. I will follow so I can see the rest of your project. Best of luck to you, and thanks for saving another one of these classics.👍

Thanks. Did you convert rear to discs? If so, which parts manufacturer did you choose?
@brianwilson74082 ай бұрын
@@MJMOPARS I guess you could say that I converted the front to discs. Mine is a W200 so I used a Dana 60 front and GM 14 bolt rear from a K30 GMC. The rear is still drums, but I did have to mess around with proportioning valves. An adjustable one would probably be better, but I ended up using one for a late 70's Dodge truck. I also used a master cylinder and booster from an early 90's Dodge truck. Didn't have to do much modifications other than custom bending all the lines. It stops okay for having 38 inch tires. I'm considering doing a disc swap on my B body though, so I probably have the same question. I'll be glad to share anything I learn.

I’m going to go ahead and order the mirror set through Classic Industries. Based on your response it sounds like the mirrors are very good quality. I appreciate your response. I’ll reach out if I have or need any assistance with the mirrors. I’m sure I’ll have some questions. Thanks again for your response. Keith

Fantastic Video. Very Informative. I liked how you continued to measure each mirror making sure of its measurements & placement. Question : Did you purchase the mirrors from Classic Industries ? I’m looking to do the exact job on my 1970 Dodge Challenger. The Challenger came with a drivers side remote mirror, and NO passenger side mirror. I may need you advise so I can get them looking as good as yours. Beautiful Car by the way. Thanks Keith

Thanks. 1. Yes. I got This set from classic Industries. The set was a better deal there than at Year One. Quality is excellent. Sure thing. Ask as many questions as you need.

Nice work on your build…. I have a question don’t know if u can help me out or point me out on the right direction I purchased a 1949 Chevy 3100 I wanna put a 2014 hemi with 6 speed do u think it’s a lot of hassle
@MJMOPARS4 ай бұрын
I’d don’t know of many Hemi swaps into Chevy trucks. Definitely going to need new mounts, but with Chevy and Ford, there’s gigantic aftermarket support. 4L80E transmissions will bolt up to a hemi with the correct bell housing. It’s really about budget and/or capabilities.
