I wasn't vibing with mine until I swapped out the bracelet for an Uncle Straps jubilee style bracelet.

The fkin rivets
Yes finishing is fkin trash on this
Wrist size ?
What's your wrist size?
6.5 inches
Haha. At 3:41 it looks like you did a booty shake with your watch.
Looks good on Britt Pearce but way too small for a men sport watch.
I'd definitely advice you to check it out in person. It wears larger than its listed size but yes, I do agree it looks better on youtube.com/@BrittPearceWatches then myself.
Very good cinematography and review. Thank. Hello from Texas.
Glad you enjoyed it - thanks for the kind words.
This is a SPECIAL EDITION. Not limited. Def a watch to acquire.
Appreciate the clarity - I stand corrected and have definitely gotten the edition confused.
perfect watch 👍🏻
Agreed by myself and many.
I think the footage is a bit overexposed at the beginning 😅
haha yes - learning curves
What? I love the bezel.
Hey don't get me wrong - I do like it as well. Just saying it could have been a little grippier vs. it's bigger siblings.
Is this submariner thin?
LOL 'the watch' is definitely leans closer to the thin and wearable side.
Every time I see the BB54 gracing one’s wrist, it makes me want to run and put mine on.
It's def a magical watch in that aspect. Tudor nailed it with this one.
how big is your wrist?
6.5 inches -
A monochrome BB54 is mandatory for me pulling the trigger! The beauty, for me, is within the simplicity, this is why I consider buying a no Date, but I‘d like to go smaller…
BB54 is definitely simple but an ideal watch in every aspect. I do wonder if this would get a design that is smaller than it's current size though.
Looks like H town
Good eye sir.
Im sell my Rolex watch
Good luck on the sale.

Milgauss is gone 🤦♂️
It had to go - I know.
Nice vid :) The crown has the same size as a DJ41 or 36. I never had a problem with those.
I did not know about that - appreciate you sharing!
I love the passion and the inspiration you had in this video. It reminds me of how I think about my style. This is probably my favorite video about the Rolex Explorer.
Thank you for the kind words - I'm glad you enjoyed the review.
I’m looking for a luxury piece to gift myself for my 65th birthday. I’ve never been a diver fan and I’m looking for a GADA piece. Having come across this by chance, I’m getting interested. My visual take is that since the bezel is missing the minute hashes it doesn’t look much like a diver. I have to try it on.
Congrats on the big 65! And great points on the missing hash marks - I thik the absence of the markers actually gives this an even more vintage-esque look but yes, you should definitely check it out in person.
I wish it would take regular 20mm width leather. Rolex and tudor do not like straight spring bar and scrape the leather straps...
From my own experience, knowing that it's a leather 20mm strap you want to use, it will fit enough to make it cover for the 1mm gap being barely noticeable.
om
OM?
@@MrAnotherWatchTime you say "om" a lot lol
@@gackerman99ohhh haha yea. I got to be mindful of that definitely!
Usually guys singing the praises of the 36mm have smaller wrists. I actually think the 40 would look better on your wrist
I tried the new 40mm model about a week ago TBH....and I liked it (too). I feel dirty saying it.
Nice watch cool story great review
Thanks - appreciate the positive words.
The constant repetitive music made me quit watching 3mn in …
Thanks for watching.
This is a woman's watch. Embarrassing.
Thanks for watching.
Tell me you have a small willy without telling me you have a small willy
how about keeping the watch in frame and in focus 😂 … other than that this was great review
haha yes noted from other comments as well. Keeping it mind moving forward!
so i only bought the watch so i can see the moon phase to cleanse my stones, -.-' is it okay? pls say its okay
A-ok - very okay!

I hear you say that no perfect watch exists. A thing a lot of you KZreadrs are saying. Well, I have a 40+ collection, and yes, I have found my final watch, the watch that suits me perfectly. It's a JLC. Up to you to guess what it is. This Tudor is very nice as well I must say.
Congratulations on your wonderful experience and finding the one that is it for you. You phrased it perfectly when you said "Up to you to guess what it is". My hope is that I will be able to find the one that I can call as perfection down this journey soon enough. May I ask which JLC model you have declared as your perfect model?
@@MrAnotherWatchTime Master Control Date 39mm with black dial
Tudor clasp is ugly
To each their own?
Clasp is been changed , Don’t BS friend
What are you saying?
Hello again, I like the BB58 but, something is missing. It just doesn't do it for me. I can't see myself buying a BB58. I would like to see a stainless steel Black Bay Pelagos FXD (preferably 40mm, or Black Bay 39 crown guards) with a bracelet/spring-bar option with a non-gilt black dial. I will say the faux-rivets really work with this BB54 more so than any other Tudor. This looks more vintage than the BB58 which is trying too hard to be IMO. The gilt dial with the clean/new case and hands make the 58 looks too new, too clean. The 54 looks like a refurbished vintage Tudor, the 54 looks vintage without trying.
I like how you mentioned that it "54 looks vintage without trying". You summed it up well.
How does it compare in size and looks next to a Rolex Explorer 36mm?
Great question! Even though this is list as just being 1mm bigger in bezel dimensions, it has more of a presence compared to the Rolex Explorer. Having the bezel with the grip and numbers definitely gives it a "bigger" look. I can attest that both pieces wear comfortably.
This remains my grail watch. I don't care for a Sub, GMT or any sports Rolex, but this is perfection for me. The only other watch from Rolex I'd consider is an Oyster Perpetual. The downside is the clasp in my opinion. I prefer the flip lock clasp.
Many owners including myself share this sentiment on the watch being a 'perfection'. I hope you will be able to get your grail soon!
the bezel insert looks a little like an accident with the sunburst effect. Not a fan of it. Anyhow, finally got my grabbers on the heritage. After so many years of hesitation
Agreed on the Bezel - it's definitely a like or dislike factor on the watch.
Took a look at a few for sale today on the private market . But seller to agree to watch been checked by a good Tudor dealer . NONE of them for sale for £2600 plus are selling and I "might " have one for £2200 if the dealer says its all good when he runs over the watch and paperwork in question
Not following fully but thanks for the comment
It means private sellers are having a hard time selling even to dealers . I think I will get the one I am looking at for £2200 as he has not been offered more by a dealer @@MrAnotherWatchTime
Let me tell you man the 58 was a piece of junk in my opinion this one the 54 however is different world its somewhere between like a Breitling and an Omega because I was thinking to get an Omega and I was thinking to get a Breitling and then I saw this and there was no question this was absolutely the best option since I needed a second watch I don't want to wear my Rolex GMT everyday it's only good for some occasions but this one I can wear it every single day it adjusts its amazing the only thing that doesn't have is a quick release strap so I can change the strap with a quick releaseź
If only they had not put the rivets on the links.... ruins the look
You kind of get over them after a while but yes, rivets was an interesting add
Sorry sir if it does not say divers 200 or divers on it before 200 m or 300 m or whatever it’s not a dive watch it is a dive style watch it doesn’t it has not been 6425 tested I’m not saying it’s not any good you can’t use it for that I mean because everybody makes a big old thing over Rolex and they’re super chronometer certification accuracy Got the same thing it’s cheaper. Is it the way you can get certified Cronomer certified to send your watch to start your movement to Switzerland that’s a lot of money for so it makes it where you neither had to buy movement from buddies call Switzerland or they got to ship their movement there that’s the reason why stop having the awards because psycho didn’t do that and crushed up.
In this case, I suggest the Pelagos for you.
Tudor didn't miss a beat with this one. It's not overly patina-d like the BB58, it has excellent proportions, the best clasp in the industry, and a fantastic movement. I am a GS fanboy first, but this clasp has me gravitating towards my BB54 and it is truly beautiful. Edit: I dream of a Pelagos 39 with a date as blue collar daily watch.
Great take on the Pelagos 39. That would sound more like the original Pelagos being slimmed down and it wouldn't be a bad look at all.
Also a happy 54 owner. A couple weeks after I bought it I felt like it was too boring and regretted not getting the 58. Now, 6months on, when I see the black 58 I feel like it's too busy. Haha point being, I seem to prefer the one I've spent more time looking at the most recently.. I would really consider getting a black updated 58 if it comes out this year and keeping both pieces! Their value for quality and versatility are hard to beat.
Well said sir - Also, the term "busy" on 58 is something I can relate to as well - it just might be the markers in the1st quadrant of the bezel, at least for me. I wonder if 58 is going to end up getting the T-fit clasp because that seems to be what everyone is asking for.
You know.. you know.. you know😂
I know, I know. You know?
I can't help but agree about the bezel. I own the Pelagos 39, with no plans to sell, playing with that bezel is probably my favourite thing about that watch. I handled a Black Bay 54 at a local AD and while the action is similar, I did come to realize how much more I prefer using the Pelagos. I still appreciate the Black Bay 54, but it doesn't seem to have a firm place in my collection right now. If i got it, it would end up being my NATO strap-of-the-day watch.
I'm glad you're enjoying the Pelagos 39. Wear it in good health!
It's nothing more than a homage brand. Let's look at the Rolex back catalogue, copy the design, add a cheap movement, make it cheaper and chunkier. They are often designed to 80%, to leave headroom to Rolex.
LOL ok 😂
Daddy chill...
Gifting a Rolex is goated, especially to the pops.
laughed so hard on that original comment
Which one do you think you might sell next?
LOL I really hope I don't have to come to this!
I purchased the same watch two months ago. Been wearing it since that day. I don't baby my watches. I work as field technician. So far it's holding up pretty well. Definitely has blemishes now but it's my daily
You're doing it absolutely right.
