  I think i know what happened here. It looks like in this clip that you have a speed modifier on. High speeds are able to alert figure towards you. So even though you were crouched, you were still moving at a fast enough speed to where figure would start chasing you. Also, if you are ever in a situation like this, the best thing to do is stop moving. After some time, figure will turn the other way and stop chasing you.
