Maybe I'm too old school but why don't these new death metal bands sound heavy anymore?! Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel and many more like them sound very heavy.

respectfully i see revocation more as a (tech) thrash band rather than a death metal band, so i don't see the need for low heaviness in the styles of old school death metal. Gotta love that old school style though, I'm super pumped for Obituary's new album.
