I remember West point park, we lived in hatboro and would come here each year with my father's "railroad" group, we as kids got to ride unlimited rides from noon to 6pm. Great memories, and now the park is gone and house's here now.... Thanks for sharing..

This is how white people behaved in 1963. No guns, drugs or gang wars. Amazing isn’t it.

This brought tears to my eyes! A time long past, but the people are still in our hearts. I love seeing S.Philly when it was predominately Italian. Great pictures of your sister Anita and your Mom and Dad! Love the music you selected! It is perfect and very evocative.

Philly was a nice place in the 50's & 60's. It started to get bad in the 70's. White Flight happened when the liberals in government did the forced bussing to the schools. The white families said, Goodbye Philly! And gradually the city of Brotherly Love became a Shit House!

My cousin Francis says: "I had to be around 14 yrs. old because the baby my dad is holding is my baby brother Dennis. I am amazed at how much my mom and my daughter Lorraine resemble each other. I will definitely be sharing these with my children. I also think the bottle Grandpop is holding is Rock & Rye and I can still remember the smell & the taste of it. What memories!"
