We were on the Viva in April for a TA. The main thing I noticed about the restaurants is they make the food "fancy" and don't give you nearly as much as we use to get. We will be on the Prima in September and I'm trying to book restaurants online now. Thanks for posting.

We live about 20 minutes north of Scranton 😅 When we tell our cruising friends where we are from..we have to mention The Office 😂 I cant remember that last time I did the coal mine tour (probably about at least 25 years ago), but its pretty cool (literally)! Oh. Ive never been to Alfredo's, but it looked good! And also for Poor Richards...never been there either. But I agree..the Wallenpaupack beer is good! 👍🍻 It was so much fun watching this vlog!! I'd like to see them switch the bbq chicken to buffalo chicken. The former is ok, just more 'sweet'. Something about the cheese+chicken+buffalo flavors just goes really well together. edit: I posted this before seeing how you make your own buffalo chicken--but it's an outrage that you have to do this, only to end up eating lukewarm buffalo chicken pizza!

Key reason I like Havana cabins is it's on deck 8 which is one of the main floors with activities, restaurants and bars. No need to fight for elevators.

We always bring zip lock sandwich bags and put cookies in them to snack on in our cabin. They can also be used to carry your chicken to the salad bar. They are good to use to bring sandwiches to keep in your fridge for later. Saves on room service. One last one- bring a refillable insulated cup, and put your iced tea in it. I sweeten it with artificial sweetener, and drink that while reading on a quiet deck. No having to find refills.😋

Yeah with the wine included I think it's a must-do especially if you have some OBC. I agree with you about the sides though, they are astonishly terrible compared to the quality of the main dishes. They really need to fix that so the quality is good across everything on the plate.

I'm so jealous of your TBA Havana cabin on Horizon! But no, I wouldn't bother to upgrade to Havana on Celebration. I upgraded to a Spa cabin instead of Havana on Jubilee so that I had better access to a hot tub all cruise, albeit an indoor one.

There seems to be a lot of confusion with free options on the celebration. The Java blue has always had items for a charge, all drinks and most desserts. The sandwiches were always free but I am hearing half the people say how they charge and half say they are free?

We stayed in Havana on the Celebration, the outdoor section was never crowded so we could always get good seats or loungers. Private bathroom/changing room and private towel counter for the plunge pool. The bartenders where hit or miss, running back and fourth between inside and outside , but they were very friendly , The plunge pool is NOT heated, so it was freezing the entire trip and pretty much unusable ....a hot tub would have been a better choice or at least thow some heat in the pool . We had an interior room and it was very nice and spacious , loved the Havana décor and the location was a straight walk to a lot of bars and restaurants . Overall we really enjoyed that section and found it well worth the extra cost.

I’m booked on the new NCL Aqua Nov 2025. Doing sea trials now. Don’t know what restaurant options will be available yet. Hoping for the Brazilian Moderno, not tried one yet. Food Hall looks like a buffet with stations instead of lines.

I expect that they won't have Moderno. Honestly, I went to Moderno on a different ship and I wasn't impressed with their execution of the concept. Indulge isn't a buffet because you can't walk up and grab the items (except at breakfast). You order from a tablet and it's delivered to you. :)

I didn't think to mention this in the video b/c we used a strategic washcloth over the thermostat housing to fix the problem... for the first time ever we found out cabin to be hot. Including with the key in the slot and the balcony cabin door closed and locked. We meant to report the issue but just didn't get around to it. Hopefully its better now, but plan accordingly (e.g. maybe bring a small fan and be ready to call for maintenance on day 1).

Not to mention, if you get a Havana room on the same side as the bar, they close off the bar a lot for special events and have bands playing in there. It's kind of a short cut to the rooms through there so you have to walk around and it's very loud. And yes, not to mention, no hot tub in the area.

We got home from our Jubilee cruise on Saturday. We’ve never stayed in a Havana cabin but I’ve always thought about it. We had a balcony room on the lido deck #16242. We could see directly onto the Havana porches. I’m with you, don’t think I want a Havana cabin anymore. Our top pick is a standard balcony on the lido deck - especially if they have only a plunge pool which I didn’t know until now. With that said, we LOVED the Jubilee!

I didn't get to tour one of those. My understanding is that those will be just like the other Oceanview cabins except they will have robes provided by default, the decor will be slightly different, and there will be Elemis (sp?) products in the bathroom.
