I was completely prepared to not like your process- a bit too scrappy for my tastes. But it really captivated me quickly, and I greatly enjoyed your process. Great artistic tips. I loved this so much! thanks!

I do journaling for therapy. I can write down the nastiest stuff and after I cover the page no one will ever see it. Most of my journal pages are related to lyrics from songs from the 60s and 70s. Any tips 4 items or articles to use on these archaic pages?

Art Journaling is such a great way of working through stuff. My favourite supplies to use in my art journal are: Paper & Matt Medium for collage, Acrylic paint & stencils and stamps for mark making, Posca pens and Neocolor II crayons for final touches. Enjoy!

I've used a wax candle rubbed on some of mine, and it seems to do well. But if it's charcoal, or even heavy pencil, they can smear, so I'm inclined to lightly spray them first.
@FlowByJenny Жыл бұрын
That is a great idea to prevent smearing. Cheers, Jenny

I love the coloring book idea, that is a great idea. I have also used the plastic cutting sheet, it is a disposable cutting board, from Dollar Tree. You get 2 for 1.25$. They are big. I also use the many different ends on my wood burner, to cut it out, this makes it so easy. When I saw the dinner lid I thought great idea. Made me think what about the side of a gallon of milk.
