Hi I have a vacuum pump like the one you show and I see the inlet blue hose but how come there are two outlets on this vacuum pump. It looks like a pressure relief value on the right side but what is the left brass fitting for. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated or is it a outlet hole the get rid of the air that it is sucking in from the blue hose.

Nice cabinet. I have built FESTOOLl cabinets for my entire shop and am building something new for my latest FESTOOL purchase. What is the purpose of the rectangular hole in the middle of the pullout? Also, I see you have a hook in the back of the pullout shelf. Is that for some kind of locking mechanism? Your shop looks great, very clean!

Nicely done, no doubt about that. But also quite overengineered ;-) The furniture locks I would've placed on the underside though. On top they're quite some dust catchers and in general they should also be kept out of sight. If you build furniture you also place them where they're not visible, don't you?

Thank you Theiss. I love this aesthetic! Custom tool mounts are a DIY staple, regardless of what the KZread comment section wet-blankets say. I really like your use of those fixtures. I wouldn't have thought of mounting in that fashion. Going to have to see where I can find some.

Just made one exactly the same today. Thanks for the idea! came out great. For those that are complaining about it not being DIY, I managed to make it to the same standard without a router or lazers of any kind. Simple power tools and some patients is all you need.

Quick question...shouldn't you have cut it 5 times (5 cut method) instead of just 4 times? Shouldn't the first cut be to create the first straight edge instead of relying on the factory edge?

Awesome. The solution I have been looking for as I decide how to setup my spoil board...movable vacuum love it! Around 10:55 , what are the black puck looking devices? They appear to give some kind of lateral support and height support to match the vacuum pad. 3d printed also? Thank you very much for sharing your design and expertise!

Actually you don't! A drill (press), some saw and sanding paper would've been enough already. I personally consider this way of building a bit over the top and often wonder, what this guys would be able to do with common tools?
