How has the lift held up? No axle problems? I wanna do a 3inch aerogenics lift on my 2005 crv se and put 235/75/r15's on it

  • @WeekendSoftRoading

Update on using aftermarket axles after changing my OEM axles for aftermarket axles: I got bad vibrations and also had to replace the driver-side cv axles 5 times as the boots kept ripping on me (thank you lifetime warranty). Sadly I did not keep my OEM axles so I had to go to the junkyard to get low-mile ones. If you do plan to lift your CRV even by 1 inch in the front KEEP YOUR OEM AXLES or find high-quality aftermarket axles. Copied from my other video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z3lq0JWBpcWtd6w.html

I use a similar system but it's not as compact as yours. Really like the way your setup packs down into a toolbag. I'm in the process of going through my gear to make packing and unpacking more efficient. Seems like if i make room in my rig something else always fills the spot though. 😅

  • @WeekendSoftRoading

Yeah, I've used it in the rain twice, it does keep us dry. The only downside is that the water does pool up in the middle of the fabric and you have to push it out. I'm still finding a way to avoid this.

I did testing to see what the run-times would be, here are my results: Ambient Temp = 24 C | 75.2F Fridge Temp set to 2 C | 35.6F 155W Aimtom Portable Power Station Without DC Converter = 8 hours until E1 Error or Low Voltage Error With DC Converter = 18 Hours Until Power Station is Completely Drained. This was an awesome result. The plan is to use the 155W power station as a dedicated battery for the fridge. I have another 400w power station that can charge my 155w battery during the day. I also have an 80w solar panel to charge both power stations.
