Great video but there’s so much you don’t actually need, like throttle petal, or the bolts, automatic bell housing bolts are the same, flywheel bolts are different but everything else is the same.

I would do all aluminum parts except the expansion tank. The OEM last a good while. Sure it’s a failure point, but it’s a lot easier to replace the tank than other parts if you have issues with the cooling system.

Aren't all of these aesthetic? How would it improve driving performance? Realistically, how much difference would a few kilos off the wheels make? What power are you running? Losing the wing would offset both the rims and the spliter. But it's about the looks isn't it?

When a honda owner buys a BMW... dude factory M Sport will be stiff, but very tolerable for performance driving. B4 OE sport suspension shocks or B6/B8 shocks, and M Sport springs from Lemforder. E90 owner refreshing M Sport suspension, and adding M3 arms.

Never had these ones fail, but one thing that failed in mine was coolant overflow tank... never han issue with anything else for 100k, and then sold before it hit that 125k for transmission service

I don't think it's your starter since you park it in a garage and they usually would show signs before going out completely. First, You should check your clutch pedal switch. If the clutch pedal switch isn't working good then power will be blocked to the starter. You can see what else might stop the car from starting if you get a bmw scan tool to the OBD port and look at the live data for the EWS-3 Immobilizer. White key is in position 2, make sure "starter enabled" is true. Try your other keys too. Otherwise you can try swapping the ignition switch. And for the cylindeer misfires you should try a compression test on those cylinders

Flooded batteries on my e46 last 3-5 years, if you get AGM they can probably last 5+ years. Check the date on your battery if it's older than 5 years then it's about time to replace it. Colder climates and shorter drives will kill the battery sooner and vice versa. To check the alternator you just need to check the battery voltage when the car is running, it should be 13.9 - 14.1v if it's working properly. Starter is probably not it and it's not hard to replace either just very time consuming but if you remove the intake manifold then it's even easier, you will just have to replace the intake and throttle body gaskets if you go that route.

check the disa valve and valve cover gaskets! leaks from those can cause misfires!
