Thanks for joining us on this adventure of building our farm here in Maine! We hope our videos are fun and encouraging to watch, and maybe even helpful in some way! We have a small flock of sheep, as well as chickens, horses, dogs, cats, and a cow! We grow as many veggies as we can and our goal is to grow our farm without debt, and to share our experiences as we constantly look for creative ways to accomplish our goals! See you at the farm!

Yeah it’s beautiful
This looks like a GREAT hike! We wanna do some family trails soon! Maybe Tumbledown😊
Thanks! The steep trail might be challenging with kids. But the back side is doable. Tumbledown is fun too.

But hello all the counsels
That was so so cool!
That is not the English saddle. It’s my bareback riding pad. Lol!
I love this video! Erin, you look great on her. You are well balanced and soft handed, which is what she responds to the best 😊
Thank you so much! Spirit responded very well! She is an awesome horse, and I love her already! ❤
You could set up a webcam and do a "live video of our sheep" stream, and people can come and watch live! Maybe you could do livestreams every Saturday for instance? Just a thought.
We just might do that sometime.
"promosm" 🤦

Hot thumbnail🥵
Looks like fun!
It sure was!
Wooo. They sound great!
Yes they do!
Amelia is so awesome
She is!
So amazing thank you for sharing this
Glad you enjoyed it
Hello
Hi! Thanks for watching.
Very nicely done. I have to ask about the sled though. Is it a Flexible Flyer? It looks just like the one I had back in the 60s. Very best sled ever made. In my 10 year old mind anyway.
I think so, it’s back up in the barn now. I had a great time sliding on those when I was a kid. Thanks for watching!
What up teacher
Hi there!
Not only attractive animals, but quite intelligent as well.
Yes. Beautiful and fun
❤❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
So glad that maple tree by the clubhouse got removed this fall! That surely would have come down in this storm and caused significant damage to the clubhouse and chicken coop.
I know, right! We were certainly blessed in the way everything played out, even though the loss of the backyard tree is tough.
we got nailed in ns too , lost 7 trees.
Sorry to hear that. I hate to see trees come down.
Holy wowser glad everyone and animals are safe
Thank you! We do feel blessed in that regard.
I went this year 2023 to the fair. Love the Fryeburg Fair, but not the traffic, went on Tuesday. I love the drafts horses.
Thursday is a great day to see draft horses. Glad you could come. Come see us in the Craft Center next year!
Very cool never thought of that, fences but not that very neat I have some new ideas 😮
Thanks for watching! Show us your pictures!
Look at her too cute
Yes she is!
Pallets are source of infinity ideas for home and garden 😊
Yes they are!
Good girl sheep
She did great!
BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH🐐🐐🐐
BLAHHHHHHH!!!
I do a lot of projects using pallets, I have never cut off the nails as any wood with nails or staples in it cannot be milled with a planer. I often come across pallets that have been rebuilt and the nails are already cut off. I just found a specialty pallet that I got 16 good 2x4s from that had thousands of staples that I had to remove to save the smaller wood but few in the 2x4s. Just a few drywall screws in them. Guess you can still get the screws out of the boards with a punch after cutting them off but I prefer to just take apart the pallet with a pallet buster, hammer and pry bar. At 70 years of age with little disposable income saving as much of the board as possible is my goal.
Sounds good. Many of us don’t plane the wood, so we don’t need to remove nails.
How sweet and cute they are
Yes! We love our sheep.
Indeed, professional, fast, and accurate. Thanks
I’m glad it was helpful and thank you too!
It looks like they pull with their necks . Am I right ?
The yoke holds them together and the chain is connected to the yoke, so yes. The oxen muscle walk in a cool way though.
How can to compare the oxe power and horse power . Who is more strong?
How do you remove the nails
I don’t plane my boards so I leave nails in. I do use a punch if I want to get them out.
Now that looks yummy!
It was!
My daughter loves horses.
She belongs to our daughter.
It's real sheep! ❤
Yes they are!

Just fyi, Percherons are either black or grey normally, the blacks are born black and stay that way all their life. Greys are born black and turn grey as time goes by. I have Blacks currently. I have owned greys in the past and unfortunately the lovely dark dappled grey is a fleeting commodity - like a glamour queen's looks - too soon it fades into a plain old grey. If you ever see a perfectly matched hitch of dapple greys feel free to give the man a handshake, it takes a lot of effort to put a hitch like that together.
Thanks for that information. I’m no expert, but I love to see these horses. The Hussey family has often had dappled grey in this event in my memory. I’ll post the 8 horse hitch soon. It’s a longer video.
Oh my! So pretty. Please don't take her calf from her. Are you going to milk share after the colostrum is gone?
Thank you so much! Magnolia is still on her mother and doing well.
I stumbled onto building with pallets about 10 years ago. Free wood has always appealed to me since I build a lot of things for the garden and for the animals (chickens and goats). I happened upon the Facebook group a few months ago. I'm currently building a small landing for the side door of my camp. Thank you.
Thanks for watching and sharing. Post pictures of your projects!
The ground is very uneven here and there are rocks in this yard, so Marigold is carefully choosing her steps.
Thank You.
You're welcome
Thank you for sharing this very quick way to dismantle a pallet , do you loosen the nails first or just go straight in
You’re welcome! I don’t loosen nails at all. It takes some effort to cut mostly between the wood and just hit nails, but it’s worth the effort. If you have suggestions of other relevant videos let me know.
Smith Point. Great spot
Yeah very pretty
