    Thanks for talking about the British loud and clear. Whenever this topic rises Indians always criticise Mughals even when they clearly know it was the doing of the British. For them hate is above truth and logic.

    The greatest fabric of all time was moslin. The Dhaka were the producer of the highest quality of the fabric. It is said the moslin were such thick and smooth a saree could fit in a match box. To make such things the highest level of skill were needed which were only present in Bengali craftsmen that time. The fabric had no match in terms of quality, colour, durability, design. To compete with such things the British empire ‌‌ cut the thumb of our craftsmen to prevent its production😢. This is how the greatest fabric were lost from the world. Though there is still a fabric exist called - benarashi. Which is somewhat the closet thing to moslin that exist in the world. And there is a great news Bangladeshi scientist team finally reinvented the process of making moslin🎉. Soon world will see the reappearance of the great moslin fabric.

    It's preferable not to call it a saree.. just like a "shirt" and "kurta" are kept separate and distinct.. so should the ideas of "mekhela sador" and "saree" be kept distinct... Mekhela sador shouldn't be thought of as a type of saree and nor should saree be thought of as a type of mekhela sador... Thank you 👍😊

    Dear Mam! Even even foreign women travelling India are fully covered, you can't simply wear such clothes and travel through a Mohalla where women's are forced to wear Burqa, Yes blouse are western concept but then again Hindu womens were never safe under Mughals and Britishers and even Portuguese in Goa.

    Amrao jaan Ada and Gangubai kathiawadi are way more realistic than this Heera Mandi Shit

  • @CHOMANTAR
    @CHOMANTARКүн бұрын

    At that time , Red colour wasn't allowed for unmarried girls to wear (especially red lipstick) as it was considered as a prostitute signature colour. Women can only wear red colour when they are married at that time. White colour was very common at that time . Heera Mandi was like a worse abusive word for family women. You don't know anything about it at all. It's glamour of Hinduism that worship a dancer and naked women. Muslims are damn conservative about this. Till now , these nawabs grand kids are abused because of their ancestors "KARTOOT". It's a Kalank. This is what we call objectification of women now . And all those who are appriciating this are activists of "Don't objectify women" campaign. I am conservative and I am really very happy to be called conservative as its better than covering a dark world of men lust and cruelness toward women.
