I'm really glad this brickfilm doesn't suffer from the common pacing issues that a lot of others' do where the director feels the need to animate every frame of a painfully slow and evenly spaced walk cycle where we actually see the figure articulate each of its feet up and down individually. I hate it when people do that. Lego people can't squash and stretch, so the only real option for entertaining movement is to rapidly jump between key extreme poses with little to no inbetweens at all. This is most likely why the people making the LEGO Movies stuck to using computer animation because that gave them more freedom to deform the miniatures. Imagine if you had the guy pull the gun out and we got to see like twelve frames of him lifting it up gradually until finally coming to an anti-climactic stop and every ounce of comedy and action is pathetically drowned. This RUINS otherwise talented filmmakers and I don't know why brickfilm directors in particular have this awful habit.

@@gubbothehuggo2771 well this isn’t my proudest work and the only reason I did that with the walk cycle isn’t because i didn’t want to animate a walk cycle it was because for the knockoff figure I used it was very stiff and hard to articulate small movements and also it just fit with the comedic style
