It cost way more than $4.50 to fully charge .
Spot on mate! It's actually $4.60 57.5kW (the usable 0-100% capacity of the Model Y RWD LFP battery) x $0.08 = $4.60
you’ve got no idea why people buy V8s mate
You're not saving anything...you spent money on a new car 🤦♂️
Except for Teslas are complete garbage shoots. Just like every other electric car. And you can't do long distance drives.
Around Australia is not a long distance drive? Good to know.
Doesn’t Autopilot change lanes for you just by signalling? Or is that just an FSD feature?
Yes but you're openly supporting MAGA and fascist ideologies by driving a Tesla
How so?
Teslas will never outlive petrol cars.
Yeah and where do you get the electricity to charge your car? From the grid, made by coal fired power stations. Not so righteous now.
I'd love a tesla, I just can't justify spending that money, especially towards elon hack
So you wouldn't buy a Ford or VW either?
@@goneincognito6275 why the fuck would i want to buy a ford, like asking me if i wanna buy a bucket with a bunch of holes.
@@reddeadmercenaries2106 But you would buy a VW?
not in Australia.
Yes, in Australia.
Saving $4k in petrol... Okay. How much is your electric bill though?
Not $4k more. If you change 0%-100% every day, that would add an extra $31.5 a week to your electric bill. That $31.5 will get you around 2100km.
I’m at 9 years on my model S with 120,000 miles. I’ve maybe lost 10% at most
False
How so?
Happen to me 😅
Use powerbank 😂
😂😂 amzn.to/3LL0dV3
Just don't turn the wipers, lights and heating on. 😂
Why is that?
It essentially longer because it’s in miles it’s 200,000 miles. That’s actually 321 868 km or eight years on the battery. This isn’t a Tesla thing that says the United States staying that EV‘s have to have a eight year warranty on their battery.
Yea and then spend 30k replacing the battery
You mean after the 8yr warranty is up and tech has progressed to a point where a replacement will be far cheaper than it is now (Which is actually closer to $15-20k)? That's assuming you replace the battery and not just the individual cells that are faulty which will be a fraction of the cost and can already be done now. Even if it is $30,000 though, you have saved more that over the 8yr period so you are still ahead.
The more i see about teslas the better they look tbh But can anyone tell me if you can download a sound pack onto them so it sounds like a petrol car or better yet, a speeder bike from star wars? I just don't think id enjoy driving a silent car even if i put some music on
But tell me, why would I want to drive a dild@ on the road?
Because it was too small for your Mum so she had to get it out of her sock draw?
But tell me, why would I want to drive a dild@ on the road?
I pulled the latch once and the guy got so pissed.
My licence is in better hands with the standard rear wheel drive.
No ones impressed by a tesla
Apart from the 1.8m people that got one last year?
Lol but you lose your balls 🤣 and sound like a dry queaf driving down the road. 😂😂😂
First hand knowledge?
Yes 😂
Not me searching up how to open a tesla door 💀
And then the government will stabling a new tax over electricity and electric cars, and you will end up paying more. Thanks but no thanks
Definitely getting this for the added buff of no tik tok
1.9 TDI: I don’t think so mate
What about the 1.9 TDI? I had a 07 TDT golf and the Tesla is faaaaar cheaper to run.
Fr
And you need to replace the 20 grand battery every 8 years?
Why every 8 years? Even if that was the case, tech will have progressed to a point where a replacement will be far cheaper than it is now? That's assuming you replace the battery and not just the individual cells that are faulty which will be a fraction of the cost and can already be done now. Even if it is $20,000 though, you have saved more that over the 8yr period so you are still ahead.
It takes approximately 5years for an EV to be profitable.....the more yk
How so?
So to put it perspective bud my vehicle which is a 2011 has over 170,000 mi no extreme repairs as well as my 2017 Volkswagen just hit 100,000. Of course 8 years would come faster for some people but a lot of these cars whenever they get an accident or even a simple fender bender they seem to be made obsolete because it may interfere with autopilot it just looks like a s***** investment to me that you can't have someone else repair it you have to have Tesla you have to have their guys and then you have to buy their parts there aren't many aftermarket parts. So if you can afford it that's great but not many Americans can and with the living paycheck to paycheck it's not a realistic car for a lot of people. Really getting tired of people getting ashamed because well why don't you like EVs because they're not affordable. They are not affordable for most Americans yeah you save a dollar or two by charging it but overall it's getting more and more where they're charging you to go out and charge your device. So what's the real difference between the charging it a dozen times or me just simply filling it up with gas. it all depends on what you want to go with and once the government right offs for making them Teslas a lot cheaper go away it's going to be a lot harder to pay for them.
Buying a new car every 8 years that runs on a slightly more efficient source is just as polluting as mainting an already made car and driving it. Remember its reduce REUSE recycle.
Why are you buying a new car every 8 years?
Hah that’s how I ended up with one
How does the depreciation look for this car because that's another factor to consider
Not unless you are selling every year or 2.
I would also add that Tesla owners should set aside money for when they inevitably have to swap out a battery. Just because you’re saving money, doesn’t mean you have to spend it.
People seem to forget that the payments for such a car supersede the amounts in gaz saved. You don’t save shit running an EV car.
@@MrMOGHammer by this logic, you also don’t save buying a gas car valued higher than an EV
I uber a lot. This helped me out if I end up in this situation 😭😭😭
Finally we have someone saying petrol instead of gas
Well you don’t actually use petrol in cars, it has to be refined in gasoline. Saying petrol is wrong
Microwave cooks food faster as well…. Just saying
CC 562 ty
I’ll only buy second hand cause they depreciate like a brick.
There is literally a button so it doesn't get easier than that bro
but no.. the v8 is slower
When everyone transitions to electric cars, the price to charge will go up by 500%
Technically the V8 is probably faster, the Tesla is quick not fast.
