Nice vid , the on rally edition all 4 shocks are the same length?
This or QuantumR 1/8th scale? QuantumR is Maverick, so worse quality? But the Maverick is much bigger and cost for me only 217USD. This would cost me around 360USD. Batteries for the Maverick will be much more expensive though. Which would you choose? Cheers

I took my body pins for these and bent them up a little so they were easier to grab and remove.
Mine has a low speed vibration I can't figure out. Replaced center driveshaft it helped a little. Any ideas?

Mate in any of these videos have you actually compared these cars properly?? Like body thickness and durability? Plastics durability and thickness, what electrical package you get with each , wheel and tyre sizes and durability, weight of each car , How substantial each car feels to hold and drive , All I can find are running videos and speed runs ?? All that can be changed by simple gearing changes ??
@gatti493 Wasn't the focus of this series. Solely on stock performance. It's the question I get the most from viewers. I cover size, wheels, layout on the individual videos of each car. I've done close to 20 videos, maybe more on these three cars. Not much on the durability front on my vids. I have thought about doing a long term maintenance video's but those don't tend to get much views and my time has been limited as of late in the hobby.
@@ReadySetRC Its a shame mate, as there is a huge difference in the price of these cars but its no good buying a much cheaper car because it performs a few times as well as a dear Felony but when you get it out of the box the body shell is like tissue paper or the first time you knock it it breaks ??

Great cars.... Are they supposed to be a Mustang? I see the lower front end and rear sort of represents one, but overall its a bit fugly.

@@ReadySetRC Yeah mate I know the Felony is a fictitious model... but there's something way different with my protoform Mustang body and the FTX mate. They certainly perform well, but still don't like the shape of em.

@aliatan144 Strange never had that issue but mine is with the old controller. You may want to rebind the receiver and controller, recalibrate the ESC and see if that works.

Had this for about a year. Only issues i had was the pull cord melted off on exhaust header and was wrapped around rear wheel. Still dont know how it happened. Fun and definitely a fast machine for sure

@realestateyelm I'm glad to read that! They are Ten-Eighty Ramps. I purchased them from Toy R Us a long time ago. Not sure where you can find them but I know they are no longer made for some time now.
Slipper clutch you just need fully tighten I never had a problem with that and will last a very long time

@owen8538 I don't own a kraton 4s but with the Outcast 4s they are about the same weight. I wouldn't imagine the kraton is that far off.

@kevingalea92 It's actually not bad on the baseball/softball fields with the stock offroad tires. Powerslides amazing.
Glad your tires did not hit frame and body...but on 3s stock they balloon and grab frame and shell..or did you put better tires on it for 3s? CAR. Hits over 50mph with good tires.
@roadstar499 I've only ran it on 2S. That's more than enough from me at this time.
It's a good truck, they just missed the mark on the plastics. The plastics are brittle, but the driveline is solid.. not perfect but with a little love it's a keeper. Oh yes the radio and receiver in mine were doodoo!

@Acornejo02 It's beadlock wheels no glue is needed. Same beadlocks you would use on a crawler.

@jedi161 Mine is far from stock. 4s system, GTR shocks, Proline tires, faster servo and sway bars. This started as a slider.
I mounted GTR shocks today with blue stripe xx springs from Traxxas. Ordered sway bars. Any recommendations for shock placements and tension?
Does the transmission work and shift just like as if it was nitro?
@justinw523 No. For electric conversion I had to lock up the 2 speed tranny.

I have a question about sr7.what do the SR7 have in common with the Associated Mt8
@championcarcare8207 I actually mentioned that in the video. The diffs in the SR7 are the same as the Rival MT8. In my experience I've had no issues with the MT8 diffs which is why I feel gearing up and putting some load on it for parking lot bashing should not be a concern.

I ran a 1300 ovonic 80c 3s and it was 45 mph imo...very stable car...i actually ordered the gyro used in this car to use and test on other cars..for $20 its great,so easy to adjust.

Hi what diff fluid do you run in this truck
@hippywildchildracing I haven't touched the diffs in a while. I believe I'm still running 10k in the front, 100k in the center and 5k in the rear.
