I was forced out of my house in 2012 by no fault of my own. In the process of trying to buy another house I became more aware of tiny houses which in turn brought me to campervans.
By early 2014 I bought a cargo van and begun converting it into a comfortable home on wheels. I may not had much of a choice in becoming mobile, but I decided to embrace it head on!
I jumped in feet first and never looked back.
This journey has ushered me and my van across the United States multiple times; from coast to shinning coast and everywhere in between. It has allowed me to meet many folks across this beautiful country. Has given me a platform to share my faith, and to part some of my knowledge and tips regarding van life.

Yes I have been told it’s a scam, but I’m still trying to do my part. Plastic is the bane of our society.

My husband was a garbage man for 25 years, recycle goes in the same place as all garbage. It’s just a feel good about yourself plan, no one checks up on the real issue going on 😂

Recycling technology was implemented too late to save anything from it. Now, it's as much corporate as any other industry and far less regulated than most others around it. Mmmmm mmm, corpratachracy for the win.

Exactly, I worked for a while for a waste company and saw it with my own eyes. There was nowhere for the recycles to go. There are dogs out in California with Miles and Miles of recycled material just waiting. There's nowhere for it to go. We usually sell it to China and they make packaging to sell products back to us. But I'm a damn economy there is nowhere for all of that recycled material to go. And in small areas like where we live it goes straight to the dump
Recycling companies get paid to recycle then dump the recycleables in the landfill. Good to know. Thank You for sharing 🙏👍
