Hello from the rugged, rocky Oregon coast! Would like to visit Ireland someday, enjoyed the video.
nice morning

VERY NICE VIDEO!!!
Hi Romanas, good to see you back. Nice to see the River where its supposed to be! It can certainly be tough on tackle around those Bridges. I think its the spoil left over from when they were building them. Cheers Diz
Well i don't mind them snags, cause that's where perch is sitting 😁

Красивые виды! Какое гравсто?
Красота!
Great info thanks!
that is no way near the best trout lake in ireland such bullshit
Which is this place
Please let me know what I wasn't doing correct
It's a small lake I love the fact it is water proof and floating but it doesn't perform at all half a star if that
I have never committed on anything but I got to on this product I could see my wife (barley) on our jet ski on the lake this radio could hardly communicate with her. When she was out of my sight I could not communicate with her at all. Less than a quarter mile batteries were fully charged and I was on the high setting. I was so so disappointed
Hi Skeeter. The only time I lost contact to other person was when they were approximately couple miles away and behind rocks. Rocks would be in the way of radio waves. Second time I had bad contact when person was over a mile away but behind an island, which also interfered with radio waves. Make sure antena is properly screwed in, and no contacts are broken. And I would consider return the radio if it doesn't work as it supposed to. One thing I dont like with this radio after 2 years now battery wont last long with Bluetooth on and on full power.
Thank you for the input
I really love the fact that the radio is tough water proof and floating sounded perfect for me cuz I NEED to stay in touch with my wife I spend a lot of time outside even my GPS is a hand held water proof also all my flashlights are the same I even spent over 200$ on rain wind and boots to stay dry it was definitely worth the money I try to be ready for anything and everything I also spent good money on a rough and tough phone lol satisfied with everything except the radios I guess I'll try another name brand even my bug out bag is 95% water proof everything In my bag is in triple ziplock bags it's about 40 pounds but enough air in it that it floats too all my gear is a blessing and a curse if that makes sense
I can grab my stuff and have enough for two people to last for a couple of weeks
Love th videos :) would u get Sea Bass around sligo?
Never caught myself but seen being caught on Mullaghmore and Streedagh beaches on competitions
Sweet!
A good result from a new venue Romanas😁 Cheers Diz
Thanks for bringing me here, really cool place, definitely coming back here.
Nice pikes 👌👍
Great Job what's your fish finder and is it any good?
It's Striker 5cv, enough to see depth, bottom and it definitely shows some fish sometimes 😁 Won't be able to upload charts but you can scan your lake with Quick scan and it will stay on fishfinder.
@@FishingwithRomanas thank you hard fishing for you there is that louch owl ?
No, it's Lough Lene, that day was terrible for everyone. Fish just didn't bite
A better day at the office eh Romanas! Looks an interesting venue, where is it? The small Jack theme seems to be occurring all over. Talking to some chaps at Killglass marina, they were catching jacks of the same ilk as you, but couldn't find the silver fish either. While the BBQ was cranking up, done some drop shotting for Perch. Judging by the activity in the reeds, the Pike are still spawning. Cheers Diz
Romanas we need a match .
What kinda match do you have in mind? Im up for it 😀
@@FishingwithRomanas A kayak Monday in Scotland . Always fun and you are invited .
@@NicolasValentinScotland im afraid im not that rich yet, but thanks a lot for the offer. I thought you had in mind youtube video whoever catches bigger perch, or so 😁
its hard to quantify what is the best lough in Ireland. Corrib is widely received as one of the best in Ireland. The west of Ireland have the generally the best loughs. mainly limestone bottoms are the most productive lakes for larger trout.
I believe you understand it's just a trick to bring new viewers to my channel. As you said there are so many loughs in Ireland that it would be very hard to state for sure which is the best, and I cannot disagree with you 😉 Tight lines
@@FishingwithRomanas lough lene is a a good lough by any standards tho. Tight lines for next time 🎣
A new venue, clear water and a bright day make for a tough day at the office eh Romanas. Cheers, Diz
True, also there were a lot of kayaks and boats, and only few fish was caught. Many people blanked.
That's a cracker, well done.
Fished many times.... Its a good stretch and some parts as deep as 17m
As its probably flooded a bit, max I saw was over 22meters
At least it was nice calm water and a good lunch?
Was definitely worth to get out and at least scout the lake. Will come back for sure when it gets warmer
How have you connected your deeper to you kayak . Iv just got a kayak and can’t fit the deeper to the track
More videos like this Romanas 😎🙏 really enjoy this sort of fishing at the sea !
Do you have to pay a monthly fee for the GPS?
Hi Sebastian, there are no monthly fees. But you must register MMSI for GPS to work
It has a design fault - the recharging contacts on the reverse are stainless steel but they are only thin disks over copper . Even using it in a waterproof bag they get corrosion in behind which pops the stainless disks and renders the battery unit useless. Also volume is very poor and size is excessive for many vhf pockets or cases
Hi, Robert. You have very good point. It is a bit bulky, but having Bluetooth is a big pro for me. Having a chat hands free with my wife especially when im reeling in fish is something. Also 🆘 button was important for me when picking VHF. Volume is good and clear if in closer distance (vhf to vhf). I'm not quite sure about the contacts yet, as mine are still intact, and future will tell. This is waterproof vhf, so having a vhf in waterproof bag doesn't sound right. Humidity in the bag may be worse than accidental splash of water on vhf. Also this video was not a recommendation to buy one, as I don't get any money, but a little review and I shared my opinion. I still think that money wise you get the best deal with all these specs, while you could get hands on much better but also much more expensive VHFs. What do you currently use, and could you share your thoughts about your VHF?
What name of this place i wish one day i will fish with you
Im no exceptional fisherman, just sharing my catches, good and bad days over media. This is Aughris pier, Sligo.

A great day out Romanas 😁 The mist made quite a pleasing Vista. Do like the Drone footage. Cheers Diz
Thanks Diz. Was nice to fish with you. Will try to get out Saturday again, if you willing to join let me know ✌️
Super
Poor Conger has a bad reputation for such a gentle fish. I think it's because they are snake shaped and humans fear snakes.
I like catching them. Good sport. Had 3 small ones today
St Patrick should of got rid of them aswell 😂
Hi a bit of a tip to left of pier 30-40 metres there is an island under the water, great spot for big pollack.Biggest i've got was 9lb.Have not fished there in 25 years brought back memories teaching my kids to fish thanks
It moght be, but I know it's very snaggy there. Also pollock comes very close to pier so you can comfortably fish with the float. But thanks for a tip, will try it next time
Hey. Was thinking of getting this hh600 but there doesn't seem to be any details of how to programme in or add any channels to it. For example would Chirp software work on it? I'd be using this for kayaking but also with the Coastguard.
Great idea. Does the fast release weight clip have another name - I can't find it anywhere?
