    watching them robots they will need 16hours to finish watering them plants. Robots redundancy would be about 3 years which will make them expensive to gain profit on. why 3 years well think of your phone software, new models with better new features. As well also ware on tare on ball joints actuators and the lithium replacement on full charge every night is only tops 1000 charges. Once sodium ion are more available this will change but. Imagine a robot out of warranty and no longer software updatable , that leaves you with a robot without its external AI programming platform. This then makes it impossible to greatly alter its job function program ability. Although a nice idea some jobs as chefs could sigh a relief, as economically it would be to expensive to replace some jobs by robots. Or at least for now, large organisations will use them to show off and be a warning to workers replacement. In the same way that companies pandered to woke policies and woke marketing campaigns, they will at first show case ther new robot force but practicalities in lots of jobs will provide not attainable in there titanium clad workforce . Don't expect to get in to a self drive jonny cab soon. They may be out soon but in mass and saleability , they are still long off.

    Humanoid Robots are a distraction that is simply not needed for the majority of people. What most people actually need is cheap transport preferably without all the bells and whistles.

    Do you think that in 2035 with the advent of AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) and ASI (Super Artificial Intelligence) they will introduce universal basic income!? a subsidy!? there will be free will!? an era of abundance will begin!? the intellectual and motor capabilities of robots have already surpassed the average human and before 2035 there is talk of them surpassing those of any human and then again those of any human combined! regarding both body and mind! answer me please...

    But will they put UBI before 2030!? Many pioneers including billionaires, scientists, Nobel Prize winners, engineers, architects, analysts and so on and so forth... almost all agree on the fact that we will have AGI in 2027 and ASI in 2029 and they look and evaluating the exponential technological acceleration curve, I wonder why they have not yet implemented universal basic income to anticipate the trends that will come from it. Just to name one, Elon Musk says that we will have AGI as early as 2025 and ASI in 2029.

    Economic value is scrapping human jobs and replacing with robotics to make products that will not sale because millions will have no income. These robotic will leave millions of families in financial chaos and governments will make claiming any type of welfare even more difficult leaving people to die or go down the criminal path to survive. Universal basic income will never see the light of day if conservatives have power they just hate helping individuals it’s all about justifying their greed/selfishness. On the other side these new technologies will create trillionaires that will have more power than elected governments. I just don’t see how democracy/capitalism can survive in the current systems under these massive global pressures with extremely wealthy dictators that can blackmail governments. These billionaires may already have such powers over governments that stop tax’s on these robotic machines. They have the potential to be used for good but I’m sure others will use for the opposite and make massive profits.

    remember when tesla was going to dominate solar installations and the solar roof was going to be the same price as a normal roof. remember when they were going to to have full self-driving 5 years ago. remember when the cybertruck was going to be 39,000. remember when the semi was supposed to be 500 mile range. remember when the rodster was supposed to have a 8,8 second quarter mile. remember when hyperloops were 5 years away. remember when boring tunnels where supposed to have automate shuttle going through them. remember when maxwells dry cathode material was supposed to revolutionize battery chemisty and 4680 was something all battery manufacturers were supposed to copy. I am sorry. its boy who cried wolf for me. the model y is 45,000 and the 25,000 model is no where to be seen. musk is trying to keep the stock price high so he can get his 50 billion because he thinks he has to get humans to mars. oh and we were supposed to have starship landing on mars already. humanoid robots are a decade or more away from being useful. robotaxis will take a decade of trial and error. lots of mistakes and lawsuits. Tesla is losing its ability to innovate because its trying to do too much. that has been musks problem again and again. he gets too ambitious. i guess its okay because he broke boundaries, but he needs to be careful because he has real competition now. the tesla killers are coming from a myriad number of companies in china who are all in on innovation. CATL and BYD are far ahead in the battery game. BYD is spitting out new models monthly. These robots better not become too much of a distraction. musk is taking a huge gamble on solving autonomy on rapid timeline. Tesla is not executing well at all. it has had multiple layoffs and runs its employees into the ground.

    Whilst I agree Teslabots have the potential to be bigger than anything else Tesla do, these projections are fantasy. It assumes a massive PE ratio and economic value based revenue. The consumer side costings are ridiculous - who on earth is going to be paying $30k for a Robot chef as a general consumer? A few very rich people, but otherwise no chance. Then there’s competition and all the complexities of regulation, infrastructure etc. I do agree business sales will be where the profit comes from and this has massive potential, but the expectations of getting close to $100k for them from another business is nonsense. I hope I’m wrong as a Tesla investor and maybe we’ll have a world like I Robot one day, but I would be happy if this doubled Tesla’s market cap in real terms. These projections are la la land.

    It's a huge opportunity for sur, but Calculating gross profit and multiplying it with a huge PE ratio of 80 is ridiculous a) because gross profit is not equal to net and b) 80x gross profit multiple makes no sense. So forget about that 10 trillion valuation.

    $95 grand per year plus energy cost and maintenance for a robot working a double shift is no saving. If you’re going to be hiring a multitasking humanoid robot you want to be paying more like $3 per hour not $17. Then there’s a big market for robots until such times as they’re super smart and super fast.

  • @zamtime

  • @dtcanxz
    @dtcanxz2 сағат бұрын

    To be fair at 17$ you are still not paying into their social security, health care, HR, paid breaks and a much of other stuff. But overall I agree with you. 95k + hourly doesn't sound good. I think it should be tiered like 50-95k per bot depending on complexity. And then a yearly software/update/maintenance charge of 10k per year.

    The cost will be more like $20K. And for that you'll fully own the robot. The hourly rate will be a separate option, if you don't need one full time, or don't want to pay upfront. Of course the early limited supply will push the prices way up, close to the cost of human labor.
