  I can watch this on repeat and still get chills every damn time... this story will forever be burned into my memories. Guts will forever be an inspiration and a man I aspire to be more like. At least with his sheer determination to his goals. Some day I'll find my Casca. I hope you all do too.

  I know I'm giving myself away as a nerd with this, but I imagine the ''Stop. Think'' part in a musical and I think it would be so cool. Disco Elysium the Musical, where four ppl dressed in purple red, purple, blue and yellow act and sing Harry's thoughts. They are always singing. But in the moment where it matters. Purple Guy as Volition goes: ''Stop. Think.'' Everything freezes, even the music, living Harry in the spot light. Yellow Guy as Perception goes: ''You can detect.'' Blue Guy as Visual Calculus goes: ''Floor patterns, bullet trajectory'' Red Guy as Half-Life walks behind Harry, grabbing him hard by the shoulders and say: ''This is a fight we can win'' Everything goes to black, and when the lights tun on again, Harry has his gun out and is shooting at the mercenary.

  @@Oblivionblade I know, it's the Violet Evergarden one. I'd say it really stood out in the execution, or perhaps the scenes and the audio happen to fit well, as well as editing setting the mood. Or may be it's because the source material was already popular.

  I think this video and music choice perfectly captures the narrative of DE. It starts slow, Raphael walks through the remnants of his mind, city and the crime. Slowly learning all about the world, himself and the situation he's in. And then once he finds his footing and can semi-properly function he starts "living" in this world, not just learning but also leaving his influence around here and there. Raphael begins to "live" again way before the ending or the tribunal. It is specifically how he "lived" up until those points that determine the outcome but the process starts before. I'd say midway through day 2 or day 3 is when the person with many names becomes complete and an entire lifetime worth of energy and confidence rushes back into the previously half-empty shell. You can feel it in almost every interaction that with each passing hour Raphael's hands become more and more untied, his posture gets more and more upright and the pace quickens significantly. You have so many places to be and so much energy needed to expend that the only way to do that is to not stop for a moment, not even a minute to catch your breath. And so Raphael runs, jumps, dances, fights and does all sorts of questionable shit to throw out all the energy he has to keep the momentum going, to not stumble and fall. And then it all ends and you are met with the consequences of your actions, a reward of how much energy and passion you've thrown out there, an equal amount of answers to the questions asked and a solid statement of how much of "life" now resides within Harrier Ambrosius Sunset.
