My name is DREi, I’m a music producer from Montreal, Canada. This new channel is dedicated to beatmakers, from beginners to advanced music makers or whoever wants to learn. I've sold and released over 600 type beats on KZread and have countless international artist collaborations (major ones too). I've studied Electroacoustics at Concordia University which includes the study of sound, music theory and composition. I'm also a music teacher doing beat-making programs in schools all over the country.

That's just regular "panamanian dancehall" 😄
Nice💯
I do all of this, (Well try to) every beats different but your beats fire, I like the flute and the bass switch up.
Thanks bro I appreciate it
The 4 to 8 bar transition and minimal sound a piano, strings and pad synth and bass is all that needed then a nice simple drum beat. This lets the rapper or singer be the main focus, they can go hard over a beat like this.
Thanks for the feedback keep it coming bro really helps out. I feel you I tend to add just one too many things sometimes and gotta remember the artist
@@DREiMUSIC2 I like piano and strings.
4th video I've watched of yours, and was thinking should I sub, then You whip out Reason Rack SUBBED, I'm a Reason head. As for your beat genre, the 808 and tempo means its Trap.
Yess bro I've been on Reason for years thanks for the sub! Ok good to know it does sound very trappy but the drum groove kind makes me think of dancehall so who knows where to draw the line
@@DREiMUSIC2 Well the 808 is so synonymous with Trap that pretty much every beat that use it is Trap regardless of the drums. The drum rythem here is a bit dance hall but the drum sounds are Trap.
Good job, new producer also from Quebec been working with FL since May and I feel I improve at each beat! I watch all you do. Here is my latest. Going there slowly and with your video I feel it will help kzread.info/dash/bejne/fIaZtrtrYJSTqM4.htmlsi=c8i6uOCgwnhQWUvl
Your beat is fire bro it’s pretty impressive actually since you started making beats not long ago keep it up

thank you bro, yeah forsure message me on ig @dreimusic
I'm so glad you made this video! It was an eye-opener for me for an unexpected reason... I have been messing with FL Studio since Fruity Loops 2.X. I don't know how long I have missed it being there, but "Make Unique" is going to be a game-changer for me! The time I will save is going to add up pretty quickly. Also, that beat ended up being pretty fire, and that's also wussup!
Nice bro glad to hear that thanks!
dope video, looking forward to more
Appreciate it, more to come
@@DREiMUSIC2 sweet, this tut made my work flow easier, that looper effect is slept on it adds a nice touch to your tracks withoout chopping it up on the play list

Good stuff man!!
I appreciate it bro!
@@DREiMUSIC2 I use Maschine as a VST inside FL. I do that so I can manipulate my samples, one shots and drums like I want then drag the audio in FL for arrangement. But I be try to learn FL and use it the way you and everyone else do😅

Hey man, just found u thru this video and just wanna say that u deserve way more views, great video!! very well put togheter, straight to the point, with a lot of good content, well edited, and above all i loved the beat created at the end!! congrats and hell yeah, i'm definetly subscribing haha I used to do a lot o music produtcion in FL from EDM to Brazillian Funk and trap style beats (i'm from Brazil) back in the day when i was younger (had more time than today at almost 30) but from time to time a still open it to nake something, last week i made a music from an audio with a friend about a inside joke of ours, just for the laugh of it. but if i ever decide to trully go back to music productiom you are one who i will be going to for advice FOR SURE have a nice day my friend, don't know if the English is good since it is a while that i don't say it/write it so sorry for anything like that

If I create a song with one guitar loop, is there copyright?
Depends where you got it from (if you have the rights to use it), if you get it off sites like Splice they are royalty-free that means you can use them to make money like sell the beat to artists or put it on Streaming platform. But you won't be able to use Content ID
Quantize 😅
Damn fr thanks bro english is my third language 😂
