BlendMount makes the best mirror mounts. And Radenso makes a visor mount that with a little filing will work with the Unidens.

Did the windshield tint affect the head on display at all? have you had any issues with the head on display since the tint ?

I feel like the window tint makes the HUD more visible as it reduces some of the glare and gives something that light can bounce from.

Hey Eddie, does the blue hue from the xpel tint bother you? Also I got the xpel plus 70% on my windshield and it has a rainbow effect that is kinda driving me crazy.

Hi Stephanie. I’ve noticed the rainbow effect if I wear polarized sunglasses. After driving for a few minutes I forget it’s there unless I’m looking for it. I think most ceramic window are going to give off some type of weird effect due to the composition of the film.

I am an Audi and a BMW fan and you're absolutely right on Q5 and SQ5 not having enough space. The X3 offers much more usable space, not just in cargo but in door panels, glove compartments,, and still gives you same or better performance.

Find a good mechanic. Only go to the dealership if you absolutely have to. Most of my maintenance is done by my trusted mechanic. Oil change at the dealer is about $250, and with my local mechanic $140 with a loaner car. I love land rovers. Onto my second one now.

Needs ro be tuned. That's all. Cold air out the fog light un tuned to hot air intake after a bit you will lose 40-60 hp in some parts because when 9th gen heats up timing is pulled. BIG TIME! LIKE r18 hp at some times ait Temps 120-130. Mine is 3 degree more than ambient. Cold morning MASSIVE GAIN.

Do 3.5 inch cold air, from throttle body down into driver side an out the fog light hole about 8 inches from the bumper to vstack an map tune it or not you feel it. An the 62-7000k lose of power rips all the way threw with no lose of power feeling.

How do you know when to replace the battery? I see on some of the bmw forums some say the transmission thuds/jerks when battery not well, others complain of other problems to. And do you replace both at the same time?

this might be late to ask but would 20% all around except for my front windshield imma leave that out would u think that be good ? just need a lil privacy cuss i see peoples with 35% and i can still see in them in their cars..lol any suggestions ?but man seeing ur 20% tint makes me feel like that will be my choice this summer.

If Tesla just put a display screen in front of the steering wheel like the model s. All the wife’s driving these y will want to trade in their cars. Cuz it’s safer to have a display in front and a 360 camera. The Nissans have 360 camera. I don’t want my daily driver to have a glass roof. Totally not safe.

i’m not sure if i got the crankhub or not in my car but the way i treated it sure makes me think i do have one or this “stock” crankhub is a killer. (2015 f82 stage 2 tune)

My wife traded her Tesla Model Y Performance with a BMW iX 50i. She wanted a Tesla Model X, but drove and referred the iX after driving it. To be honest, the iX is so much nicer than the Model Y, also much more expensive and the mileage is better than the Model Y we had. The iX is very comfortable.

I completely agree w/you Eddie. ALL cars/makes & model have their issues. What baffles me is how much complaints/rants there are on the web about Euro cars and very little w/others because even the reliable "brands" have their issues. The difference is cost due to the premium and origin of parts manufactured. It's a matter of paying the price of what you chose. This is the vid I had been waiting for as justification if I was to convert from VW group (17 Q7) to JLR (20' F-Pace SVR) - I still ended w/another Audi (20' SQ5). Every vehicle does/will have a general to same or even unique issues. It's the owner(s) responsibility yo whether have it taken care of immediately or hold it off and result to possible furthermore damage and spending. Either way, glad to hear your story on this Eddie and hope for the best on your ownership experience w your Range Rover - stay positive ;)

funny how I always hear about a bunch of "feel" type explanations but NEVER anything scientific to backup the remarks. 25% tint is probably so much better than no tint obviously but 25% ceramic tint at a markup? Who knows until someone actually puts a level of scientific measurement to it. Until then. I'd go with the cheapest stuff with a good install(or intall warranty) and try to park in the shade too.

funny how I always hear about a bunch of "feel" type explanations but NEVER anything scientific to backup the remarks. 25% tint is probably so much better than no tint obviously but 25% ceramic tint at a markup? Who knows until someone actually puts a level of scientific measurement to it. Until then. I'd go with the cheapest stuff with a good install(or intall warranty) and try to park in the shade too.
