Simple created flowers from nail polish and wire...crazy, huh. It's so fun to make something from almost nothing- and enjoy the process. Take care!! Hope you try them!

No offense intended, but I hate buttons. I don't even want them on my clothing. Yuck. I think they look creepy, so no surprises that I think the red candle looks awful :(
@WelcomeToNanas6 күн бұрын
No offense taken. It makes perfect sense that if you don't like buttons this is NOT the post for you. Ironically, button crafts are popular right now! So different strokes for different folks. And, BTW, I like the ivory buttons wrapped around an ivory candle much better than the red candle, more vintage looking and they blend in with the one color theme. Thanks for your comment!

After the horrible Fire that raged through my property, I lost over 300 pinyon pines, Only 25 or so survived and some of them produce pine cones, I am going to try and grow some, even though Pinyon pines are the slowest growing Pine tree. I won't be able to enjoy them but somebody will some day. It has been over 4 years since the Fire, & I have not seen a single pine tree sprout out of the ground, So I guess I will have to assist mother nature.
@WelcomeToNanas6 күн бұрын
Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear about the fire. We live on a prairie and it is a harsh but organic part of nature. It is always on my mind. Typically there is regrowth after a fire, that is unusual that there are no new tree sprouts. I love your mindset of planting for others in the future- what a beautiful thought to come out of a difficult time in your life. I'm hopeful you can grow and replant trees to assist Mother Nature after her "cleaning out" with fire. Blessings.

Would a piece of foam poster board work? Maybe if I double layered it to make it a bit thicker.
@ShellyCarlson12 күн бұрын
This is nana- I think that could work. You may want to glue the two pieces of foam board together so that they don’t slip and slide inside of the fabric covering. Make sure that your push thumbtacks don’t go all the way through and make holes in the wall behind the board :-)
