Your description says "original screen", but you've replaced the original screen. You also skipped the instructions to dismantle the main area around the glove box.

I would like to close it both from the remote control and from the car from the button next to the driver on the door, to close the trunk. Will this upgrade work in the 23 trd? If so where can I get one? Im having trouble bypassing the jbl amp to upgrade my entire system while still using the factory jbl head unit. Any information would be greatly appreciated

They installed a larger head unit in a 2021, or 2022 or 2023 Camry by appearance of interior. Basically, you should know that the 8th Generation Camry in the 4th, 5th, and now 6th year are identical. So far does not appear that Toyota plans on making any body design changes for 2024 but to install Hybrid/i4 engines with an Update Infotainment System with Google and Wireless Car Play and Android Auto plus Safety Sense 3.0 (currently 2.5 plus) which means new sensors and computer modules. Possibly a full Digital Instrument Cluster display. They may but doubt Toyota will make all lights LED. Depending on Sales - the Camry could be dropped in 2025 leaving only the smaller Corolla and larger unwanted Crown for sedans. People want crossovers and SUVs, sedans have less room, less ground clearance, and people don't have a good visual sight unless higher up off the road. Problem is with 4-bangers and frame structure that you probably unable to Tow a mid size to big trailer unless you get a Pickup Truck.

Yea this person doesn't know what they are talking about. The camry is the most sold sedan in the US. And the XSE has their JBL 9 inch screen. Most TRDs like mine have the 7 inch screen

If you have a rear power outlet then you cant enable it with this stereo. You lose the functionality. Its no where in the car settings

Can any one show exactly what wires get plugged in? About to work on this in a few days . I have factory 8.4 inch. Dodge Journey 2015 . I have the android 11 . Just like the one on the video. I started the install last week end . Got as far as , radio Bluetooth gps works. But can't control the volume or the inputs ? The volume under the screen , don't work. Didn't try the temp or fan, at that time . The steering controls didn't work ether ?

guess they pried off the A-pillar plastic trim and cut a hole then installed a rather oversized tweeter or smallest mid-range, ran the 2 wires down the A-Pillar under - behind the dash and to the Head Unit. Just be sure the speaker does not touch the window as vibration or clacking of the speaker against can be annoying. Personally, something that protrudes out looks terrible and not professionally installed.

No it deletes the hiddy hole. That’s on sacrifice. I have one and I think overall it’s been a great addition to the car, was able to upgrade factory backup camera with a better unit in an OEM looking shell so everything looks like it came OEM from the factory. Mine is the full touch tablet style screen unit not half screen unit.

I got mine on Alibaba and it was 350 shipped 1.8 ghz 8 core cpu 3gb ram 32gb rom 9.7 inch android 11 touch screen. I love it, still retain everything from OEM and adds so much more. Mine is tablet style screen, not double din screen like his. People call them teslas screens but that’s not what they are. As Tesla didn’t invent the tablet, nor electric car for that matter. Didn’t even perfect it, if anything lucid did that.
