To much talk
Hey marc is it normal to get lost in the track. I fallow the lessons untill here and still get lost and cant seem to make a frase with out pausing the video.
Awsome track Man !!! Having lots of fun . Subbed courese! Thank you sír !
Really helpful video, thanks.
You're welcome!
Thanks alot Marc for a great lesson
Glad you liked it!
wow this is good.. first i thought they are short i found before some licks to learn..but never that they fit together like this but why are some licks only 3 notes? and not make together 1 . or is that something i just dont get yet.. .. but thanks, i wrote then down with number 1 to 8 on 1 paper.
Yes, that's deliberate. You are quite right that several of these could be linked into a single lick. I did it this way to make it as easy as possible for beginners to get their fingers around the licks.
@@MarcGuitarVideos aah I get that because the short ones have more bends and slidea.. then explaining those take as much time as the others.. its nice that they fit together as a whole.. but i ask myself now (i only play for 13 or 14 weeks now).. is this always the case if someone explainlicks, that they fit together?.. or most of the time not.. because then they dont say that its onn solo, bur maybe it always is the case? and most just dont mention that.. or is that nost of the times just loose licks that dont have that in common that it fits together after the others like this.. i hope its a bit clear what i say with my english.. my first language is dutch so it can be a challenge to understand my english. thanks for explaining.. i hadnot foundthis channelbefore,i will look more videos from it
Thank you a lot😻very helpful
You're welcome 😊
One of the most underrated guitar teachers out there. This guy has taught me so much. Wish I found him sooner.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I'm three years late for the video but this is CRAZY!
WOW! Thank you, that's such a kind comment. That means a lot
Same thing for me brother!
I agree with the other comments about the maple being brighter and the rosewood more creamy sounding. I could be happy with either one. I also agree that the 95 strat sounds better.
Thanks Marc another great lesson
Fantastic! Thanks Jackie
Thx Marc ❤
You're welcome!
This is great. Marc, could I ask why you used the F# in the chord .Was it the original chord progression?
Hi Peter, sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. The BB box is a little scale shape an in the key of A has the notes A, B (which can be bent to C#) D, E and F#, which is practically a A major pentatonic scale. The Chords of A an A7 don't include a F# but they do include C#. However, this BB Box works really well of these chords, and the other sections of the chord progression that require a more melodic approach.
@MarcGuitarVideos That's it. I forgot about bending up .I was looking at the chord chart before I actually played it and listened better.
I used your idea of sweet and sout to kick on an overdrive -joyo Sweet Baby. Fabulous (and cheap).
Great lesson Marc!
Cheers! I really appreciate that
Cool Marc 😊thank you.

Awesome Lesson-Well Articulated and to the point-Thxs
Thank you, that's very kind
I get really lost figuring out the timing between the chord changes. Do you have any tips on that?
Sure thing: 1. Play the rhythm chords along with the backing track. May need to count to play along. 2. After being comfortable with that, listen out for audio cues for chord changes approaching, like a drum fill, a particular snare hit, note on the bass or something. 3. Start playing notes, but start with something really simple, and focus more on listening out for the audio cues. Listening, is the real key here. Oh, and always tap your foot and don't be afraid of counting out loud if you need to. And don't worry about it. Keep practicing and it will come in time.
@@MarcGuitarVideos Thank you! I find it a bit difficult to play a phrase or lick while tapping/counting at the same time but I will surely work on that
To much talking not enough playing

Very inspiring and encouraging lesson.
Thanks, I'm really pleased
Marc, I have recently rediscovered my passion to improve my guitar skills after staying stagnant for a long time, particularly through my discovery of the blues genre. These videos are a gift to humanity and you are a fantastic teacher. Cheers my friend
Wow! Thank you, this is such a kind comment. I really appreciate this. Thank you so much
HI, Marc. Love the lesson. Maybe it's my pc, but the jam track makes a screaching sound a little after 2 minutes in. Is there another track you would suggest? Thank you again. 🎸
Hi, I just played it all the way though on KZread and I did't get any issues so I'm not sure what you are experiencing. IF you were going to try this with a different backing track, any blues/rock track in A or A7 should be fine, just avoid a backing track in A minor.
@@MarcGuitarVideos Thank you, again Marc.
This video should get more likes! Excellent tutorial 🔥
Thank you! That's very kind
