    Wish it was true. None of the common "remedies" work.Ask me how I know... Soap, sheets, moth balls, ultrasonic with flashing lights , all BS. The only thing that stands a chance is peppermint oil, but you have to re-apply every few days

    Ever see some of the latest Toyota and Mazda tail lights? Why did they have to make them those blinding dots anyhow? That little bit of metal wouldn't make any difference anyhow. They light assemblies are still full size but they have those tiny blinding asininely designed lights that are ugly and a just a bad design. By that logic there are millions of Toyotas with tail light failures because their design is a miserable failure. If you were ever behind a Toyota or Mazda you will know what I mean. The only thing worse would be getting stuff behind one in heavy bumper to bumper traffic. *If some engineer thought that it would look good he is guilty of they crime of heresy!!!!*

    @@stevenshircliff393 Thank you, that’s interesting. The only wiring harness goes to the reverse lights and the turn signals and brake lights are just the adapters. If you live anywhere around northern CA I got mine from Roseville Toyota.

    Great video man, I have a question about the factory stereo. I just bought a 20002 corolla and the stereo has a tape deck but on the unit it has a button for cd and after some research can't find anything on it but why is there a cd button on the stereo if it has nowhere to put cds?

  • @DanielsCarTalkChannel
    @DanielsCarTalkChannel15 күн бұрын

    @@rbntamez Behind the radio there should be a plug for a wiring harness to go to an in-dash CD changer. You remove the storage compartment under your climate controls get a bezel so the CD changer fits and it’s plug and play. I personally would just go aftermarket at this point because radios have advanced since then and Toyotas sound systems really are not that great but if you like your factory HU that’s what it’s for.

    @@DanielsCarTalkChannel i haven't even seen the in dash cd player that you are talking about i can't seem to find one anywhere, any ideas? The car is for my daughter and she loves the fact that this car has the tape deck so I just thought I could add the cd player but like I said I can't find it

    You should have bought a Highlander with the JBL sound system- they rock!! The Highlander Limited comes with sunroof, JBL Sound system with built in amp- and the thing has BASS!! ALSO, the 6cylinder, 4wd is the way to go when buying a Highlander. There's still many out there, in great shape, for a good price 👍

    Tip: After running window completely open / closed, 'bump" it slightly to take the pressure / binding off the mechanism, motor will last alot longer not being bound up. Or don't . . . ☆

    I cleaned the vertical runners first with hand sanitizer (70% alcohol) on a cloth before spraying WD40 silicone down those same runners. Works an absolute treat. Standard WD40 only last a week so not worth the effort.
