  I discovered Chappell Roan in February when the Red Wine Supernova music video was recommended on the sidebar of another KZread video. I instantly fell in love with her music and even with all the amazing pop album drops this spring, I consistently find myself going back and listening to this album again and again because it puts me in such a good mood. Every song is PERFECTLY written, sung & produced. I literally just ordered the CD so I can play it in my old car when I drive around this summer (in America lol). I wish her only the best because she has the talent, energy and I LOVE her aesthetic so, SO much!

  I say this with genuine respect, please don’t say you’re going to k*ll yourself if you can’t get to bed before midnight. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for people ages 18-25 and it’s only getting worse. From personal experience, it’s just not fun when someone turns something so awful into a joke.

  the music videos on this album are SO GOOD too. and the Pink Pony Club music video transformed it for me from like, a fun lil gay bop to a song that I inconsolably sob listening to. also! she got dropped from her original label after Pink Pony Club came out (2020) and had to move back to Missouri, where she was working as a waitress and some other jobs while she wrote a lot of the songs on here (which is what California is about). when she released this album, she basically decided she was going to give music one more try before letting it go 😭 and GOD her journey makes me emotional.

  Im so happy to see Chappell getting the recognition she deserves!! She’s such a performer too, I saw her open for Olivia and was immediately obsessed. Would love to a see a Renee rapp reaction next

  Dan Nigro who produces all of Olivia Rodrigo’s music also produced all the songs on Chappell’s album. Also Coffee is one of Olivia’s favorite songs. Chappell used to do covers on KZread and she landed a record deal and moved to LA. Her label dropped her during Covid bc she wasn’t making them any money and she had to move back with her parents in her small town in Missouri (she’s not from Tennessee, it just rhymed better than Missouri) and get a job at a local drive thru. Then she decided to move back to LA and pursue music again and this time it worked out!! Also I think it’s important to know that Chappell is heavily influenced by the drag community (hence her crazy makeup and esthetic).
