  The shield hardness was super cool to hear, and I didn't know about the immunity bonus on the eclipse great shield or the spiralhorn shield! I'll totally use those

  You can give any shield maximum hardness by using the Barricade shield ash of war that you can put on them. You can get it very early too, as it drops from the Night's Cavalry in Weeping Peninsula.

  I love that Ant shield, I brought it into Radagon fight because it helps stamina regen (to block and parry), so my talismans can be put better use for other damage negations. I infused it Carian Retaliation, parried Radagon to death in a fast-pace close-combat. Really fun! But it's not a best one to block (absorb) hits from big bosses PvE, there are other 2 better medium shields for that purpose.

  can anyone who has a better memory than I do tell me what shields allow you to block and retaliate immediately (not magic damage)? does it depend on the weapon ?

  You can guard counter with any weapon and shield but there is also Golden Retaliation on the Erdtree Greatshield.

  I think the only use I can see for the Pearldrake Talisman is if you are invaded and don't know which elemental damage the invader might do, but.... that's still not really great. Well, maybe there will be an area in the DLC where you have to deal with more than one elemental damage type!

  (Renalla, Radahn, Rykard, or Mohg, Lord of Blood) 2 out of those 4 to allow entry to Leyndell. The Draconic Tree Sentinel to actually enter Leyndell. ‘Goldfrey’, First Elden Lord to get access to Morgott. Morgott, Last of All Kings to progress the storyline/unlock path to Mountaintop of the Giants. Optionally either kill Mogh, The Omen for access to Three Fingers/Frenzied Flame; or to kill Fire Giant to burn the Erdtree. Go to Crumbling Farum Azula to kill Godskin Duo, then Maliketh. Go back to Leyndell, Ashen Capital to fight Gideon, 0:39 real Godfrey, First Elden Lord, then Radagon, Second Elden Lord, then Elden Beast. That’s 12 bosses minimum by my count 🤷‍♀️.

  I am still trying to get better at sticking to a upload schedule and this video really messed that up as it just took so long for no reason but I have some other video's planned.   The weapon Cinquedea give 10% and the Clawmark Seal also gives 10% so I honestly should have said ~21%.

  You can skip to farum azula after getting to the four belfries (still works, used it on my recent runs 1.10). In theory you could beat the game withoyt killing the fire giant. I beleive you still need great runes to finish the game, but this would also skip morgott as welll

  @4:10 that talisman is actually pretty awesome because it also effects sorceries. No need to keep it on but situationally its ridiculously good to equip

  Without skips the amount of bosses u need to kill is 11/12 but with skips u can cut that down to 9 with the early lendell skip (u skip the need of two shard bearers and draconic tree sentinel)

  @@ZeroTasteGaming no I am talking about the exploding crystal tear glitch , the trap chest in weeping takes u to a tower in ledell and if u drink the physic at the right time u Will fall down and before u hit the ground u will explode which leads to no fall damage and then u can activate the elevator , this works 100% unless it’s been patch recently which I don’t that it has however the timing is a bit difficult However I was wrong , this skips 9-10 bosses as u do need to kill a boss to get the exploding cracked tear but I think it’s worth it as u skips 3 bosses I just searched it up and someone was able to do it in 1.10 which I believe is the current patch , just search up early lendell There’s also another one that’s more luck base , u can use the taunters tongue at the top of the tower and wait till a invader spawns at the bottom and activates the lift for u

  The antspur rapier has native scarlet rot and can be poison I fused, so can the mushroom crown stack for each proc or just once within a given time period?

  It procs off of whichever inflicts first. The talisman and headpiece stack for buff when anything is poisoned in the vicinity. They also stack with Golden Vow, flame Grant me strength, physical damage buffs i.e. roars or consumables and it stacks with Royal Knights resolve.

  @josephdellavecchia7828 no problem I spent alot of time trying to figure out a high damage poison build. Came to realise it's just not as good as other builds. I feel like poison should have been strong for PVE and weak for PVP. But it's kinda of the opposite.

  @ArawnOfAnnwn it pressures the opponent to either heal or use a bollus giving you an opening to attack. Also if your running high arcane and you poison someone or yourself, you can stack the mushroom and rot talisman to significantly increase the damage of an occult infused weapon with good scaling like the Giant crusher. I've seen people run this setup and one shot phantoms with over 1500 hp with a single charged heavy attack...

  tbf some do but yea Elden Ring has little to no consistency in how helpful it is with item descriptions and quest pointers. One of the most frustrating parts imo
