I could not pick a favorite but the roman garden looked like a wonderful retreat. I wish in the US places like that existed in cities and towns. Places brimming with life and water. Ok i change my mind, i love the Roman and Bridgeton gardens

I appreciate they wanted to restore the rooms as close as it was prior. But i don’t like the dated look. It needs freshening up.

I think I agree with you. I would turn the snug into a beautiful kitchen, but I think I would turn the kitchen into a small snug. Just enough for me and my honey and maybe our little dogs. I would definitely keep it private there lol. to have the kitchen next to the dining room is convenient if you’re going to turn it into a B&B because the food will remain warm enough to get it to your guests. Sorry I came late to this channel, but I’ve been watching your videos since Covid. My husband and I binged for at least a year every day on your wonderful videos! We love France and the Dordon is spectacular. We would love to come to your Château for a week and just relax on the ground in the gardens.

Perhaps the red bed could be used as a day bed, but it still needs a custom mattress.

As you said: many would want to live there, it's like a large chalet or a villa, super elegant and homely, having garden parties and BBQs with that large house in the background is very refined and must be much fun.

Bridgerton garden is or could be enclosed enought to keep wildlife away from eating the hostas. The structures are there also that would deter them even more. Of course there are sprays and invisible fences... Or as my daughter suggested one could plant something further away for them... The hostas planted as they are i those hues with the white foxgloves and few others is so beautyful. Of course the gray rather than red brick colors. and autumnal colors. And then on the other side the romantic plantings.

That was definitely worth seeing a second time. I'd forgotten how enjoyable the episode was. The Châtelain was so knowledge about the history of his home. Even though he talked the whole time, but it was quite interesting. My one unanswered question, where does he live? Bravo, Stephanie! ❤ from TX!

The gardens at Chelsea this year are absolutely stunning and each one with a moving story behind it. So wonderful that they are moved to other locations and charities once Chelsea is finished. The world children’s cancer garden won an environmental initiative award as no power tools used in the construction. The clay bricks slot together and were 3d printed. Thank you for an insightful and inspiring tour of RHS Chelsea, its sheer joy and bliss ☺

Vivienne, you're being too modest. Your entire family is filled with accomplished musicians. Isabella, your sister and your mother to name just a few off the top of my head. Amateurs they're not. Your sister is the vocalist on your vlog's theme music, La Vie en Rose. I would swear your mother is currently retired, but taught music and plays the harpsichord. I only wish Isabella would treat us to a bit of harp music.
