  great video and a really cool project, I may do this myself! One comment though, optocouplers are essentially a small IR emitter and receiver. You should put a current limiting resistor somewhere in series with pins 1 or 2 to protect the emitter from possibly burning out. Great work!

  Yes, you can just change the output in the firmware using Ardunio IDE from stock 44 to either 1 or 2, depending on which pin you use.

  Hello, I have looked at the compatibility of the oled with the pwnagotchi, I even moved some files to the /ui/he/ directory such as i2coled.py, waveshareoledlcd, etc... But I couldn't get the oled to work.I ran a Python script to make sure both the Raspberry's i2c and the OLED itself were working and everything worked. But I don't know why even configuring the config.toml with the OLED characteristics, type, resolution, address 3x0C does not show anything on the OLED. And by the way, it's very cool to have managed to put pwnagotchi on the pi 5, it's impressive. I look forward to the video regarding the oled. Greetings and thank you. +1 sub

  OLED should be implemented in the next jayofelony firmware release. I just used the v2.9 but was removed due to bugs.

  You don't need it but you will want to use the 3.3v pin and not 5v as the CC1101 module will burn out.

  Yes it will work fine. The reason I designed to use 3.3v converter and use 5v is to reduce footprint and mitigate issues that can be caused by using 3.3v as it is shared with the sdcard.

  As he stated in the video, he is demonstrating on a disassembled version, so that you can see what he is cutting. He states that you make the cut through the battery slot.

  Nice video. I love the use of perfboard and I'm trying to start using it in my own projects. I had some questions. What are you doing with your iron off screen when it makes a blowing sound? Also any thoughts on using solid core hookup wire as opposed to the braided wire you used in this video?

  Not sure at this stage. My next DIY video was going to be for a Lillygo T-Display for the F0. I haven't gotten around to it as I have been busy. If I make a DIY video, it will be for the SlimOgotchi (smallest Pwnagotchi with yellow OLED) as the other ones are quite difficult to make.

  I call it the SlimOgotchi for Slim OLED Pwnagotchi. I think it's the slimmest pwnagotchi with screen. Thanks to RasTacsko for OLED implementation. It was in Jay's 2.9.0 and 2.9.1, but there were bugs, so I am waiting for the latest version to be released.
