EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for after days of binging Bullet Journal videos. I ordered my notebook it should be here Monday I’ll be back to check this out. Do you do a daily log after that weekly spread or is your daily log within the confines of those boxes? I’m a student so I love that weekly spread to keep all my classes straight but I want to do daily logs too.

That’s the best part! If you like daily logs I’d just do them after the weekly spread. I don’t find myself really using daily logs that often so I stick to my weeklies. HAPPY JOURNALING

I love this. Simple, straightforward, easy to follow. Minimal speaks to me bc it lets me add creative touches later if I want. Or not 😊 If I start out overly creative, I feel too pressured to keep it up & then get discouraged when I invariably don't.

nice. I would prefer to use dot pages for this instead of drawing lines, because anything that requires me use a ruler to draw more than 5 lines isn't considered simple. Sure, simple looking, but not a simple job.

I love the FriXion pens. I first was introduced to them for a magic trick that included some light fire. Then they were used for RocketBooks. Which I also love. Now I’m exploring Bujo and I’m still using them. Unfortunately my current Dot Journal has 80gsm paper and sometimes I also erase whatever is on the other side of the page. 🤦🏻♂️

@@IamTrentChambers If you put it in the freezer what you’ve erased will return. It’s not the friction removing the ink. It’s the heat from the friction making the ink disappear. Because my pages are so thin, the heat passes through and causes the ink on the other side to also fade.

Keeping separate work and personal journals doesn't work for me. The two worlds often blend together so having it all in one planner is working for me atm. Seeing that my wife has an early meeting, I'm doing school drop off and pickup, I need to book a car service during my lunch break, there's soccer practice that afternoon, I need to plan resources for my next work day, and a new TC video to watch all in the one planner makes life simpler ;) But i do work in a job where the spheres of work and personal life often collide.

I use a variation of Layout 1 - Days of the week to the left, Work/Personal To Do lists on the right. But the 3rd layout looks so clean. I've copied these three layouts for the next 3 weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing how they work.

I guess I would be considered mostly minimalist in my planner & journal(s). I use 90% black with a colored pen for important stuff and grey for page breaks between days- though I do have more chaotic monthly pages. I tend to collage abit and put whatever quote stood out to me on those. Thanks for the video!

As someone who has been doing decorative bullet journaling for the last 6 months, I really like the prettiness of it and the habit tracking. But halfway through this month, I've realized I've hit a depression and have lost interest in my trackers and all the planning I did for this month. I don't want to stop journaling (bujo has improved my day to day), so this simple and minimal set up seems doable for me while I work through this month. Here's to better mental health in April! ❤

That’s the best part of a Bujo. It is exactly what you need it to be. Feeling crafty and full of motivation great! Go wild! Feeling down and things are hard? That’s ok, go with the bare minimum. It’s easy to be drawn to the colorful and creative aspects of bullet journals but ultimately it’s what you make of it. Keep going and know that you are making it. Happy (or meh that’s ok too) Journaling!

Great spreads! I recently settled on the very first one you showed, and I love how simple it is. Depending on what's going on that week, it's easy to throw in a habit tracker or some decorations.
