Disconnected, still died unfortunately. I also tried wrapping the sensor with aluminum / foil tape. That didn’t work either. Will be trying by pass next. If that still doesn’t work, it’s going out to the trash 🤣

And here I thought I had to cut and rewire some cables. I give this a shot, many have said if it doesn’t receive signals then it won’t let you start it up.

And if you tow at night, you blind everyone coming at you, even with your low beams. Get a real tow vehicle, and leave that thing for the Target runs.

It looks great in Yellow but you can change the whole colour easily for around $40 using Spray Wraping. I think you'll regret parting with it coz they are just becoming sought after as quirky bikes to customise. I'm getting one to use as a Bobber.

Thanks !!! I rode a 2003 BMW Scarver from 2005 'till 2017 & I love every minute of it !!! Before I had two Suzuki LS650 (Savage) & the three of them shared, instead of a chain, a carbon/kevlar belt. The salesman of my first Savage (1988) refused to sell me a spare belt saying "If it breaks, I'll send you one free!" & he was right. None of the three belts gave any sign of wear & tear! PS: Once, the beautiful niece of a German friend saw my bike & exclaimed "Ah! The girls' bike!"... It seems that, in Germany, that model was used a lot by German Frauen. I understand, with no messy chain greasing every 500 km 😃😃😃PS: I'm now riding since 2018 a 2010 660 cc Yamaha MT03 & I love it ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/dXWBy7OYeLq5h9I.html )
