    Front foot needs to face forwards and not parallel to the back foot. This will help with control, less catapults, you will twist your upper body which will help you go upwind. Anyway good planing, you are just there by the footstraps. Next put your front foot 👍

    Amazing video! It's so great that you share your love for the ocean. Windsurf is such an amazing water activity and it's lovely to see you enjoy it, keep going with these great videos, you'll help many people to expand their knowledge about it. If it doesn't bother you, I'd like to give you a suggestion, a tip for the next videos: Basically, you could try inserting some comic and funny stuff... to give everyone a pinch of humor that, in the world of windsurfing and water sports, can never miss. Now, I don't think much of it, but the first thing I could think of in your sport might be peeing in the water. Once, my uncle, who is a scuba diver, peed in his wetsuit during a long diving session and that moment was absolutely funny, he even wrote "I’m peeing" on a waterproof notebook during the session. He has always been telling me that there are 2 types of divers and swimmers: those who pee in the water and their wetsuits and those who lie. I know it may sound strange as a request but, in my opinion, these are moments of happiness and carefree that always make everyone smile, that's why it'd be funny and hilarious to include them. I hope you like the idea and I hope you have a wonderful day!

    Congratulations you have managed very well on those high gusts. If you excuse me I'd like to give Just a couple advices; you might consider to take your boom a little bit higher for a more stable stance. Also back foot strap shouldn't fit like a shoe. İf you tighten it a little bit more, only your front side of the feet will enter. This will prevent you from serious ankle injury in case of a catapult. Also you can manage to push the back of the board more effectively with your back foot. This will help you to keep a better upwind sail performance.

    Great job. You look very fast and in control. It looks like you have a small foil wing (800-1,000 cm2) which may be harder to keep you foiling when you slow down on the turn. I wonder if you played on a larger front wing if that would give you more "float" to come all the way around on the turn??? Either way, keep it up. You are so close to making it around on foil! 🤙

    Front foot first! Ever. If you put in front foot second, ju put pressure on the tail, therefore loose speed and the board heads upwind. If you get a gust in this moment, you will be thrown out the frontdoor (catapult!). And your stance is so wide!!!

  • @cjeslicabaas3729
    @cjeslicabaas37299 ай бұрын

    It’s personal. Backfoot first is for preventing a catapult. Your risk for a catapult is higher when you put in your front foot first, because you can’t compensate the power if there is to much power (through a gust) in the sail. If you put in de backfoot first and keep pressure on the mastfoot you won’t be turning upwind and can control your direction. Wide stance is no problem (maybe someone may find it look stupid). But both is good. It’s personal and depend on your goal. In competition, front foot first (loose less time and speed) if safe is more important than backfoot first
