Ha ha, what could be more American than sharing your thoughts re relevant ministry and asking for suggestions for topics to discuss from your auto. I would like you to explore ways our religion can help us not to go nuts during this prolonged period of coping with Covid-19. I usually dislike the word normal yet I so want to have some degree of normality to be restored. I love spending time with myself so its not that; its when I go out going places and doing things that the current "out of kilter" situation hits me in the face. I keep thinking, am I that shallow? Never one to enjoy restaurants I am tired to death of ordering delivery or take away now called grab and go, etc. Somehow something as simple as sitting in a restaurant with others whom I do not even know sounds like a little bit of heaven to me. What can I do to address the bone breaking ennui?
I love this and will view more of these that you have so thoughtfully done. There is much to be said for the sound of silence for knowing ourselves and more importantly as you so artfully pointed out to hear the voice of God. There is nothing more important.

Alsalam, with regard to first question I as a muslim draw the attention to chapter CONSULTATION (shura)that was revealed to prophet at makke holy city and preceded to nearly all of the chapters containing the ruling codes and with regard to importance of the theme of the chapter is titled with this name. It was evident to Almighty Allah that the justly implementation of ruling codes depends to proper and just management of community . For example the penal codes of theft or killing or adultery and the likes are restraint if the people can achieve their natural and social needs justly and theses items are foreseen for all the individuals. So Allah is decreed that the handling and managing of affairs of muslim community are upon counsellors only even at the time that dear prophet was live and acting among them. Even Allah says with hard tone to his messenger that(you have no authority upon people of your own, in arabic لیس علیهم بمصیطر),in other words the responsibility of prophet was to convey the will of Allah to people and be a role model to them. So decision making and its implementation for all affairs of community refers to pious and god obedient consultative body . Evidently for implementation of resolutions of agendas requires a governing system and this system encompasses all neccessary structures (justice,army,economic .......) and acts under the supervision of this body. Whit putting this governing mechanism in practice you will be confident that all human needs of every individuals of community are justly attended in the context of potentials of that community and from that time on each wrong doer is somehow Psychopath and needs to be treated by rule. So every government out of this framework is considered non_islamic call it monarchy or republic or emirate or else. The democratic systems have very similarities with above except putting the God law at first.
