The thing is called a turbine - how much wind is needed to make it turn? Silly me, it uses electricity to start it up.

Wind is above board, but carbon capture and storage? How is the storage audited? An engineer might say the figures aren't right, so the management sacks them and gets someone who says it's all hunky dory.

Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and get more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.

Hi. I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second child. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks

Wind and solar power is destroying our power grids. It is unable to deliver base energy needs. Green energy proponents are either stupid or corrupt. Modern nuclear power is both green and stable. So therefore the leftist green mafia do not want green energy, but they want us to have less energy.

What I should like Nige to explain, in his plausible way is why he thinks a rapist is a fit person to be President of America, and how would he proposes or explain how the authority of the law and society could safe guard women from assaults and rapes if the President himself is guilty of such an offence, [and in case he tries to equivocate the offence Trump committed would have been rape in any state but New York, as the judge explained on Trump's appeal . Is the right of a woman not to be raped vitiated if there is no external recourse for appeal

Why do people listen to Farage, he has no official position , even when he was a MEP he claimed his salary ,and expenses and as UK fisheries Rep, he sold the fishing industry down the river , and our taxes will keep him comfortable in retirement while pensioners in Britain struggle. Plus he is trying to now wriggle out of his complicity in Brexit ,a 100% con man.

The ratio of a BTU in from fossil fuels to BTUs out from windmills is 18 to 1. This also requires additional employment. That's right, you have to have backup. Battery storage means things like pumped hydro dams which require further employment. I didn't hear a word about Energy Dome or flow batteries. Growing pains. This is what these guys are talking about. Another thing I didn't hear about was that more than 61,000 people died in Europe’s searing 2023 summer heat wave. The current heat wave - named “Cerberus” by the Italian Meteorological Society after the three-headed monster that features in Dante’s “Inferno” - has prompted further fears for people’s health, especially as it coincides with one of the busiest periods of Europe’s summer tourist season.

I was a victim of Broons actions and New Labour, part of 50,000 plus people who had their pensions wreaked in the late 90's. I was relatively lucky losing 9 years of working contributions, some who had a lifetime lost nearly everything, harrowing to witness the impact. The whole thing winded its way through the legal process, 20 years and what was left was eaten up in costs with not a word or remorse from Labour on this. If Labour are sniffing around pensions in general then be warned.

Wind turbines are inefficient by design. This is astounding to me because we have used wind for power for a very long time. There is a way to dramatically increase the efficiency of producing torque from wind that is not being used. Regardless, wind can only be considered as a supplemental energy source.

I’ll tell you what will happen. Labour have already said they won’t raise income tax, NI and VAT. Where is the money going to come from? They will print money. I suspect they will tax private companies contributions to your pension along with a raft of other stealth taxes. You won’t see it, but it will cost you a fortune. They will target the doing well middle class earning over 70k. He will throw money at NHS, education and benefits to look good but will achieve nothing. They’ll rip up planning and allow big house builders go wild on building on the green belt in the south east, which will grow the economy but on debt, possibly creating the next banking failure, but they won’t address the infrastructure so are effectively piling up expenditure need in the future, but creating a massive deficit and catastrophically increasing the debt so destroying the flexibility to make the investment in the future. So we’ll end up with high debt, high inflation, over developed towns and cities packed full of non British nationals who are natural labour voters. If you want to see how things will be look no further than London. Sadiq Kahn is massively unpopular but he’s encouraged a Labour demographic and can there for create uppopular policies like ULEZ expansion tax grab and waste it on social engineering. The UK will go down the toilet under Labour and the only hope they are thrown out early and the tory party can get its act together and get a decent leader because if the voting public keep Labour in like last time the uk is doomed.
