Elevated to the highest echelon of the Union as the General Secretary of the All India Postal Employees Union, Group C Central Headquarters at New Delhi and the Secretary Staff Side of the Departmental Council JCM. Represented Confederation of Central Govt Employees, Pensioners Organisation. But proud to say that he was the Circle Secretary of the Tamilnadu Circle Union and served here before his elevation to All India level.
His basic tenet “All are equals and he is one among the equals.” He adopted the principle of “Let us pull down the walls that divide to unite and act, advance and achieve.” He practiced. The neutrals of Tamilnadu are now under one fold under the NCA Balu Ezhuchi Peravai for that he is functioning as the Thalaivar.

Reduction in pay without cumulative effect or with cumulative effect is an issue lot of people working in establishment section do not have the basic knowledge how to restore on completion of punishment period. Authorities while passing such punishments orders should consult establishment section. If there are incomplete speaking orders, at least dealing staff should remit the case to DA to pass clear orders. Some times due to improper restoration after punishment will lead for long term loss to the employee.

Audit authorities are having very meagre knowledge on several issues.. It is very unfortunate.. But they feel that audit has power on any of the issues to object on pay and allowances.. Simple Example:- 1.An LSG official officiated on a temporary basis as Head Postmaster for 1 year in the exigencies of service due to non availability of regular HSG I official. The Postmaster provided rent free quarters in the HO premises.. . The officiating Postmaster did not occupy the quarter, since his posting is only on the officiating basis. Moreover there are no orders from the Divisional Head for occupying the quarter.. Hence the eligible HRA was drawn to him since the quarter is not occupied by the officiating PM. Further the said entire quarter is being utilized for the PLI CPC branch.. The DA (P) ordered recovery of HRA from the officiating official who worked as postmaster on officiating/temporary basis.. stating the reason that the officiating postmaster didn't occupy the quarter. The affected official retired from service and now raised the issue in pension adalath.. for refund of irregular recovery of HRA.. In another incident the audit ordered recovery ( during the IC party inspection on 23-10-2013 )of pay and allowances to the tune of Rs. 80715/- The affected official got a stay order from CAT in the month of 11-2013 and finally the official superannuated on 30-06-2023. But the audit recovered the said amount 30-09-2023 i.e.. after retirement . On the final judgement of CAT order the Department filed WP in the High court during 2021 and the same was dismissed on 24-06-2024. So far the affected official was not informed of anything on this issue..

No hope. Pensioners not covered in CGHS still get 0nly 1000 rupees as fixed medical allowance for spouses. The consultation fee alone for a specialists is minimum 500 rupees. lab, medicine costs are well known Now.
Sir, According to the rule 2023 compassionate engagement, application should be received quarterly and minutes to be sent within 1 month. But practically this is not happening in any circle in India. What will do the deceased family? Should they suicide in a poor & financially depressed condition?
I requested you to make a video about the situation , practically the divisional offices are not supporting the deceased family to apply on compassionate ground, they always says we don't have time come after 2 month. Candidates will apply for compassionate engagement after the death registration of the Ex-GDS , But they don't have the time to register the details.
